This Privacy Policy explains how PayCrafted ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
We built PayCrafted with your privacy as a top priority. Our core privacy principle is that your data belongs to you.
1. Data Collection and Storage
PayCrafted is designed as a standalone, offline-first application. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal information, business details, client data, or invoices on any external servers.
Local Storage: All data you enter into the App (including company settings, client names, email addresses, billing addresses, and invoice line items) is stored securely and locally on your device.
No Cloud Syncing: We do not have access to your invoices or client lists. Because the data is stored only on your device, uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data will permanently delete your invoices.
To provide specific features, the App requires access to certain device capabilities. We only request these permissions when absolutely necessary:
Photo Library / Media Access: The App requests access to your device's photo library solely to allow you to upload a company logo to your invoice settings. These images are saved locally within the App to generate your PDFs. We do not upload, scan, or analyze your photo library, nor do we transmit your chosen logo to any external servers.
3. Third-Party Services and Tracking
Because the App operates locally, we do not use third-party analytics tracking (such as Google Analytics or Crashlytics) or third-party advertising SDKs that harvest your user data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
Note: When you choose to share a generated PDF, the App utilizes your device's native sharing capabilities (e.g., native email apps, messaging apps). We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of the external apps you choose to share your PDFs through.
The security of your data relies entirely on the security of your personal device. We recommend protecting your device with a PIN, password, or biometric authentication to prevent unauthorized access to your locally stored invoices and client data.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Since we do not host your data, you have complete control over its retention:
You can delete individual invoices or clients directly within the App.
You can delete all your data at any time by clearing the App’s cache in your device settings or by uninstalling the App from your device.
Our App is intended for general business and utility use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and updating the text within the App.
