Privacy Policy – OncoPlanner
Last updated: June 24, 2026
OncoPlanner is an organizational and educational tool for people undergoing cancer treatment. It does not provide diagnoses and does not replace medical advice or emergency care.
DATA USED
OncoPlanner may store a name or nickname, cancer type, treatment stage, current treatments, check-ins, symptoms, warning flags, notes, appointments, medications and clinic information entered by the user.
HOW RECORDS ARE ASSOCIATED
The app uses Firebase anonymous authentication. No email or password is required, but records remain associated with a persistent app identifier so synchronization can work. These records are therefore pseudonymous, not fully anonymous.
PURPOSE
Data is used only to provide requested features such as history, scheduling, reminders and reports. Analytics events are limited to general product actions and do not include names, diagnoses, symptoms, medications, notes or other health content.
STORAGE AND SECURITY
Synchronized records are stored using Google Firebase and transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is completely risk-free, so the app limits collection to information required by the features the user chooses to use.
SHARING
OncoPlanner does not sell personal or health data. A report is shared only when the user chooses to export or send it.
DATA DELETION
Users can permanently delete their profile, authentication identifier and stored records directly in the app: Home > Privacy and your data > Delete my profile and all data.
If the user cannot access the app, a deletion request can be sent to vitacaredigital@outlook.com. The support team will explain the steps required to securely identify the app profile and confirm deletion.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Firebase (Google LLC) is used for authentication, secure cloud storage, analytics and app stability. Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
