Privacy Policy for NGO Field Team

This Privacy Policy describes how NGO Field Team ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile application.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
NGO Field Team is a fully offline application. The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information with us or any third parties. All data you enter into the App — including staff names, contact details, attendance records, schedules, tasks, announcements, and expense records — is stored exclusively on your device's local storage (SQLite database).
The App does not require an account, login, or internet connection to function.
GOOGLE ADMOB
The App displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect certain device information and identifiers to serve contextual or personalized ads in accordance with Google's own Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You may opt out of personalized ads through your device's advertising settings.
PHOTOS AND CAMERA
The App may request access to your device's camera and photo gallery solely to allow you to add profile photos for staff members. Photos you select are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
All data created in the App is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your data. Data is retained as long as the App is installed on your device or until you manually delete records within the App.
DATA DELETION
You can delete any data at any time directly within the App:
- Delete individual staff records, tasks, expenses, or announcements from their respective screens.
- Use the backup and restore feature to export your data and manage it externally.
- Uninstalling the App from your device will permanently delete all App data from your device.
We do not store any of your data on external servers, so there is no additional deletion process required on our end.
BACKUP FILES
If you use the backup feature, a ZIP file containing your data will be saved to a location you choose on your device or shared via a service you select (such as Google Drive or email). We have no access to these backup files. You are responsible for managing and deleting backup files you have created.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
