Privacy Policy – My Qibla

My Qibla is a free, offline app whose core features provides Qibla direction and prayer times. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app does and does not handle.
1) Data Collection
My Qibla does not collect, transmit, share, or sell any personal data.
The app does not require you to create an account, and it does not send any user information to any server.
2) Data Stored Locally on Your Device
To provide a better experience, My Qibla may store basic preferences locally on your device only, such as:
* Selected language
* Selected city
* Selected theme (background / compass style)
* Time format (AM/PM or 24-hour)
* “Vibrate at Qibla” setting
* Optional prayer notification settings (such as enabled prayers, reminder minutes, vibration preference, and the local city/location reference used for those alerts)
* Temporary local place details used to improve optional auto-detect location behavior
This information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted off-device.
3) Location Permission (Optional)
Location access is optional.
If you allow location permission, the app may use it to auto-detect your current location to provide more accurate Qibla direction, prayer times, and place details.
If you deny location permission, the app will still work normally using manual city selection.
4) Notifications & Prayer Alarms (Optional)
If you enable prayer notifications or reminders, My Qibla schedules local notifications on your device only.
These alerts are generated and stored locally on the device and are not sent from any server.
On supported Android versions, the app may request notification permission and/or exact alarm permission so these local alerts can run at the intended time.
5) Vibration (Optional)
If you enable the “Vibrate at Qibla” option, the app may trigger a short vibration only when alignment with the Qibla direction is reached.
If you enable vibration for optional prayer notifications, the device may also vibrate for those local alerts.
No other vibration is used for unrelated actions.
6) Third-Party Services
My Qibla does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, trackers, or developer-operated backend services that collect user data.
Optional location and place-name features rely on location/geocoding services provided by your device’s operating system.
7) Data Retention & Deletion
My Qibla does not retain user data on any server.
Any locally stored preferences can be removed by:
* Clearing the app’s data from your device settings, or
* Uninstalling the app
8) Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect app changes. The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.

“قبلتي” تطبيق مجاني توفّر مزاياه الأساسية اتجاه القبلة ومواقيت الصلاة. توضح هذه السياسة ما الذي يقوم به التطبيق (وما الذي لا يقوم به) فيما يخص البيانات.
1) جمع البيانات
تطبيق “قبلتي” لا يجمع ولا يرسل ولا يشارك ولا يبيع أي بيانات شخصية.
لا يتطلب التطبيق إنشاء حساب، ولا يرسل أي معلومات للمستخدم إلى أي خادم.
2) بيانات تُحفظ محليًا على جهازك فقط
لتحسين التجربة، قد يحتفظ التطبيق بإعدادات بسيطة محليًا على جهازك فقط مثل:
* اللغة المختارة
* المدينة المختارة
* الثيم/التصميم المختار (الخلفية / شكل البوصلة)
* نظام الوقت (ص/م أو 24-ساعة)
* إعداد “اهتزاز عند القبلة”
* إعدادات التنبيهات الاختيارية (مثل الصلوات المفعّلة، ودقائق التذكير، وتفضيل الاهتزاز، ومرجع المدينة/الموقع المحلي المرتبط بهذه التنبيهات)
* بيانات مكان محلية مؤقتة لتحسين ميزة تحديد الموقع التلقائي الاختيارية
هذه المعلومات تُحفظ على جهازك فقط ولا يتم إرسالها خارج الجهاز.
3) إذن الموقع (اختياري)
إذن الموقع اختياري.
عند السماح به، قد يستخدمه التطبيق لتحديد موقعك تلقائيًا لعرض اتجاه القبلة ومواقيت الصلاة وبيانات مكان أدق.
إذا رفضت الإذن، سيستمر التطبيق بالعمل بشكل طبيعي عبر اختيار المدينة يدويًا.
4) الإشعارات وتنبيهات الصلاة (اختيارية)
إذا فعّلت إشعارات الصلاة أو التذكيرات، فإن “قبلتي” يقوم بجدولة إشعارات محلية على جهازك فقط.
يتم إنشاء هذه التنبيهات وحفظها محليًا على الجهاز، ولا يتم إرسالها من أي خادم.
وعلى بعض إصدارات أندرويد، قد يطلب التطبيق إذن الإشعارات و/أو إذن المنبّهات الدقيقة حتى تعمل هذه التنبيهات المحلية في وقتها المقصود.
5) الاهتزاز (اختياري)
عند تفعيل خيار “اهتزاز عند القبلة”، قد يقوم التطبيق بهزة قصيرة فقط عند الوصول لمحاذاة اتجاه القبلة.
وعند تفعيل الاهتزاز للتنبيهات الاختيارية، قد يهتز الجهاز أيضًا مع هذه التنبيهات المحلية.
ولا يستخدم التطبيق الاهتزاز في أي إجراءات أخرى غير مرتبطة بذلك.
6) خدمات الطرف الثالث
لا يستخدم تطبيق “قبلتي” أي خدمات تحليلات أو إعلانات أو تتبّع، ولا يستخدم أي خدمات خلفية خاصة بالمطور تجمع بيانات المستخدم.
أما ميزات الموقع واسم المكان الاختيارية، فقد تعتمد على خدمات الموقع والـ geocoding التي يوفرها نظام تشغيل الجهاز نفسه.
7) الاحتفاظ بالبيانات وحذفها
لا يحتفظ التطبيق بأي بيانات على خوادم.
أما الإعدادات المحفوظة محليًا فيمكن حذفها عبر:
* مسح بيانات التطبيق من إعدادات الهاتف، أو
* حذف التطبيق
8) تحديثات السياسة
قد يتم تحديث هذه السياسة من وقت لآخر لتواكب تغييرات التطبيق، وسيتم تحديث تاريخ “آخر تحديث” عند ذلك.
