Muzzly (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy.

Muzzly is an application designed to help users check whether certain foods or ingredients may be appropriate for dogs by analyzing user-submitted content such as images and related inputs.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights when using the App.

By installing or using Muzzly, you agree to this Policy.

a) Information You Provide

Muzzly may allow you to provide or generate information such as:

- Food images submitted for analysis

- Saved items or bookmarks

- Pet-related preferences you choose to add

Some of this information may be stored locally on your device.

If image analysis or similar features require processing through third-party services, the submitted content may be transmitted only as needed to provide the feature.

To improve app performance, reliability, and user experience, we may collect limited non-personal technical information such as:

- App version

- Anonymous usage metrics

- Crash or stability diagnostics

- Basic interaction data related to app features

This data is:

3. Food Analysis and Informational Use

Muzzly provides informational guidance only.

The results shown by Muzzly are not veterinary advice, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

You should not rely on Muzzly as a substitute for professional veterinary care.

If your dog may have consumed something harmful or is showing signs of illness, contact a licensed veterinarian or emergency animal clinic immediately.

4. AI or Third-Party Processing

Some Muzzly features may rely on third-party services to analyze images or related inputs and generate results.

When you use those features, relevant submitted data may be processed by those service providers solely to provide the requested functionality.

We do not claim ownership over your submitted images or content.

We aim to minimize the data shared and only use what is reasonably necessary for the feature to work.

5. Premium Features & Purchases

Muzzly may offer optional premium features or subscriptions.

All payments are processed securely through Google Play Billing.

We do not collect or store:

- Payment card information

- Billing addresses

- Payment credentials

All payment and purchase processing is handled directly by Google Play.

6. Advertising

Muzzly may display ads in the App, including ads served by third-party advertising partners such as Google AdMob.

These advertising providers may collect or receive certain device-level or technical information to serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and improve advertising services. Depending on your device settings, region, and consent choices, this may include identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID, approximate device information, app interaction signals, and diagnostic information.

Muzzly does not sell your submitted food images or personal content to advertisers.

Where required by law, we may request your consent before showing personalized ads or before allowing certain advertising-related data processing. You may also be able to manage your privacy choices through your device settings or applicable in-app privacy options.

7. Data Storage

Your settings, saved results, bookmarks, and certain app preferences may be stored locally on your device.

If a feature requires cloud or third-party processing, only the data needed for that feature may be temporarily transmitted for processing.

If you uninstall Muzzly, locally stored app data may be removed from your device, subject to how your device and Android system manage app storage.

8. Sharing

Muzzly may allow you to share scan results, screenshots, or other generated content.

These files are:

- Generated locally on your device or within the app experience

- Shared only when you choose to share them

- Not publicly shared by us on your behalf

We do not receive or store the content you share unless a future feature explicitly says so.

9. Notifications

Muzzly may send local notifications if you grant notification permission.

These notifications may be used for:

- Feature reminders

- Product updates

- General app engagement

You can disable notifications at any time through:

- Android system settings

- The App’s settings screen, if available

10. Children’s Privacy

Muzzly is not directed to children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can review the situation.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to reduce privacy and security risks.

Because some Muzzly data may be stored locally on your device, your data security also depends in part on your device’s own protections.

- Use or stop using the App at any time

- Delete saved results or bookmarks

- Adjust app permissions

- Disable notifications

- Uninstall the App to remove locally stored data from your device, subject to system behavior

You remain in control of how you use the App and what content you submit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Muzzly evolves.

When updates occur, we will:

- Publish the revised Privacy Policy

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.
