PRIVACY POLICY — MuralDesk

This Privacy Policy describes how MuralDesk ("the App," "we," "us," or "our")
handles your information when you use our mobile application.

1. OVERVIEW

MuralDesk is an offline application designed for mural painters and wall art
professionals. The App stores all user data locally on your device. We do not
operate servers, and we do not collect, transmit, or store your personal or
business data on any external server.

2. DATA WE COLLECT AND STORE LOCALLY
─────────────────────────────────────────────
All data you enter in the App is stored only on your device using a local
SQLite database. This includes:
• Client information (name, phone number, email address, address, notes)
• Job/project details (title, description, location, dimensions, pricing,
status, photos)
• Financial records (income and expense entries)
• Materials inventory records
• Task lists
• Photos taken or selected from your device's gallery
This data never leaves your device unless YOU choose to export a backup
file and share it yourself (see Section 5).

3. ADVERTISING — GOOGLE ADMOB

The App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
Google AdMob may collect certain device information to serve relevant ads,
including but not limited to:
• Device advertising ID
• Device type and operating system version
• Approximate location (if permitted)
• App interaction data
This data is collected and processed by Google LLC under their own privacy
policy, which is available at:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:
• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
We do not have access to any data collected by Google AdMob.

4. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do NOT collect, access, or store:
• Your name, email address, or account information (no account is required)
• Your location or GPS data
• Contacts from your phone's address book
• Any analytics or usage data from within the App
• Any data sent to our servers (we have none)

5. BACKUP FILES
─────────────────────────────────────────────
The App provides a Backup feature that allows you to export all your data
(including photos) as a ZIP file. This ZIP file is created locally on your
device. Sharing this file is entirely under your control.
When you use the Restore feature, the ZIP file is read from your device and
imported locally. No data is transmitted to any server during backup or
restore operations.
We strongly recommend keeping your backup files in a secure location, as
they contain your business data.

6. PHOTO AND CAMERA ACCESS

The App requests access to your device camera and photo gallery solely to
allow you to attach photos to your job records. Photos selected or taken
are copied to the App's private storage directory on your device. We do not
upload, share, or access these photos for any other purpose.

7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

How long we store your data:
Your data is stored on your device for as long as the App is installed and
until you choose to delete it. We do not set an automatic expiry period for
locally stored data, as we have no access to it.
How to delete your data:
You can delete your data at any time using the following methods:
(a) In-App Deletion:
Open the App → Settings → "Clear All Data"
This permanently deletes all records (clients, jobs, photos, finances,
tasks, and materials) stored by the App.
(b) Delete Individual Records:
Any individual record (client, job, transaction, photo, task, or
material) can be deleted directly from within the App by opening the
item and selecting the Delete option.
(c) Uninstall the App:
Uninstalling MuralDesk from your device will remove all locally stored
App data, including the database and all job photos stored in the App's
private folder.
Note: If you have previously exported backup ZIP files and stored them
elsewhere (e.g., Google Drive, email), you must delete those separately,
as they are no longer under the App's control.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

MuralDesk is intended for use by adults and professional tradespeople.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not
knowingly collect any personal information from children.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
─────────────────────────────────────────────
The App integrates with the following third-party service:
• Google AdMob (advertising)

No other third-party services, analytics tools, or cloud services are
integrated into this App.

10. SECURITY
─────────────────────────────────────────────
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, the security of your
data depends primarily on the security of your device. We recommend using
screen lock and device encryption features provided by your Android operating
system.
Backup files exported from the App are not encrypted. Keep them in a
secure location.

11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
─────────────────────────────────────────────
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be
reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
