Mubin requests access to your device's Approximate (Coarse) and Precise (Fine) location solely to:

• Calculate accurate Islamic prayer times.

• Determine the correct Qibla direction.

• Display Islamic information based on your current location.

Important:

• Your location is processed only on your device.

• We do not store your location on our servers.

• We do not sell, share, or track your location.

2. User Preferences

To provide a personalized experience, Mubin stores certain settings locally on your device, including:

• Prayer Calculation Method

• Madhab Selection

• Language Preference

• Theme Preference (Light/Dark)

• Notification Settings

• Quran Reading Preferences

• Tasbeeh Counter Progress

• Adhkar Progress

These settings are stored locally using the Hive database and remain under your control.

3. Usage Information

We may collect limited, non-personal technical information such as:

• App performance

• Crash reports (if enabled in future versions)

• General feature usage

This information helps us improve the app's stability and user experience.

We do not collect personal information such as:

• Your name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Contacts

• Messages

• Photos

• Files

• Passwords

unless you voluntarily provide such information in future features.

Permissions We Request

Mubin requests only the permissions necessary for its core functionality.

Location Permission

Used to:

• Calculate accurate prayer times.

• Determine Qibla direction.

Your location is never stored on our servers.

Notification Permission

Used to:

• Prayer (Adhan) reminders.

• Daily Adhkar reminders.

• Islamic notifications that you enable.

Exact Alarm Permission

Used to ensure prayer notifications are delivered at the exact scheduled prayer time, even if the device is idle.

Foreground Service Permission

Used only while Quran audio is playing so playback can continue:

• In the background

• When the screen is locked

• While using other applications

Data Storage

Mubin follows a privacy-first approach.

All personal settings and app data remain stored locally on your device, including:

• Tasbeeh counts

• Adhkar progress

• Prayer settings

• User preferences

We do not upload this information to our servers.

Third-Party Libraries

Mubin uses trusted open-source libraries to provide core functionality, including but not limited to:

• adhan_dart (Prayer Time Calculations)

• just_audio (Quran Audio Playback)

• Hive (Local Storage)

These libraries operate within the app and do not collect your personal information through Mubin.

If analytics or cloud-based services (such as Firebase) are added in future versions, this Privacy Policy will be updated before such services become active.

Data Sharing

We do not:

• Sell your personal information.

• Rent your personal information.

• Share your personal information with advertisers.

• Share your information with marketing companies.

Since most data never leaves your device, we generally have no access to your personal information.
