App name: Ministry (미니스토리)
Android package name: com.devjian.ministry
iOS bundle identifier: com.devjian.ministry.ios
Developer: devjian

This Privacy Policy explains how Ministry (미니스토리) (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) accesses, uses, stores, shares, retains, and deletes user data.
The App is designed to help users record ministry or service activity, manage schedules, goals, notes, interested-person records, media, stopwatch history, and route records. Most data created in the App is stored locally on the user’s device.
1. Information We Access or Process
Depending on how you use the App, the App may access or process the following types of information.
1.1 Service and activity records
The App allows users to enter and manage service or ministry-related records, including dates, time records, goals, studies, return visits, notes, custom fields, monthly reports, calendar records, and stopwatch history.
This information is stored locally on the user’s device unless the user chooses to export, back up, share, or transfer it outside the App.
1.2 Interested-person and contact records
The App allows users to save information about interested persons or contacts, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, notes, language, visit history, return visit information, Bible study information, preferred time, territory information, and other details entered by the user.
The App may also allow users to save location coordinates related to a person or place if the user chooses to add location information.
Users are responsible for entering and managing this information appropriately and for respecting the privacy of other individuals.
1.3 Location and route information
The App may request location permission when the user uses map, current-location, address/location selection, or route tracking features.
When the user grants location permission and uses these features, the App may process location-related information such as latitude, longitude, timestamp, accuracy, speed, provider, route points, and route sessions.
Route tracking is used to record service routes and show route-related information in the App. Route information is stored locally on the user’s device unless the user chooses to export, back up, or share it.
1.4 Photos, videos, and media
The App allows users to attach photos or videos to records. Depending on the user’s media storage setting, the App may store a reference to the original gallery item, copy the media into the App’s internal storage, or store a reduced-quality copy.
If the user enables media inclusion in backup, photos and videos may be included in exported backup files.
1.5 App settings and preferences
The App stores settings and preferences, such as language, theme, field settings, display settings, map settings, media backup settings, notification settings, sharing settings, and other App configuration options.
These settings are stored locally on the user’s device.
1.6 Purchase and support status
On iOS, the App may offer optional consumable Apple In-App Purchases for support or tip purposes, such as “More Caffeine”. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The App may store local purchase count, support status, and temporary thank-you display status on the user’s device.
On Android, optional purchases may be processed by Google Play Billing.
We do not receive or store full payment card details.
1.7 Advertising and device information
The App uses Google Mobile Ads SDK to display ads. Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share certain data, such as IP address, user interactions with the App or ads, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers, for purposes such as advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Data collected by Google Mobile Ads SDK is handled according to Google’s policies and practices.
1.8 Remote configuration and notices
The App may connect to a remote configuration service to check app notices, update notices, or minimum supported version information. This request does not include the user’s service records, interested-person records, notes, photos, videos, or route history.
However, as with normal internet requests, technical information such as IP address, request time, and basic request metadata may be processed by the hosting provider.
2. How We Use Information
We use information accessed or processed by the App for the following purposes:
To provide the App’s core features, including service records, reports, schedules, goals, notes, interested-person records, media records, route tracking, stopwatch records, and widgets.
To save and display user-created records locally on the device.
To allow users to export, import, back up, restore, or share their own records.
To provide map and route-related features.
To show notifications, such as schedule reminders or foreground service notifications, when the user enables or allows them.
To display ads and support optional purchase-related features.
To check remote notices or app version information.
To respond to user inquiries and support requests.
To maintain app security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How Information Is Stored
Most user-created data in the App is stored locally on the user’s device, including service records, interested-person records, schedules, goals, notes, app settings, stopwatch records, route records, and copied media files.
The App may store data in local app storage, local databases, app preferences, internal media storage, and cache storage.
Exported backup files, GPX files, route images, shared reports, or other exported files are stored in the location selected by the user. Once the user exports or shares data outside the App, that copy is controlled by the user and by the destination app, storage provider, cloud service, or recipient.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell user personal data.
The App may share or transmit information in the following situations.
4.1 User-initiated sharing and export
The user may choose to export, back up, import, or share records, reports, route files, route images, or backup files. In these cases, the information is shared only through the user’s selected destination, such as email, messaging apps, cloud storage, file manager apps, or other sharing targets.
4.2 Advertising services
The App uses Google Mobile Ads SDK to display ads. Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share certain data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
4.3 Apple In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing
If the user makes an optional purchase, payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store on iOS, or by Google Play on Android. The App may receive purchase result information necessary to provide the purchased support/tip experience, update local purchase count, or display thank-you content.
4.4 Map, geocoding, and tile services
When the user uses map, location, geocoding, or route map features, map-related service providers may receive technical request information necessary to provide map tiles, map display, location, or address-related features.
4.5 Remote configuration service
The App may contact a remote configuration endpoint to check notices or app version information. This does not transmit the user’s service records, interested-person records, notes, media, or route history.
4.6 Legal or safety reasons
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or if necessary to protect users, the App, or the public from harm, fraud, or security threats.
5. Data Retention
The App retains data as described below.
5.1 Local app data
User-created records, app settings, schedules, goals, interested-person records, route records, stopwatch records, notes, and copied media files are stored on the user’s device until the user deletes them, resets all app data, clears the App’s storage through Android system settings, uninstalls the App, or replaces the data by importing a backup.
5.2 Route and map cache
The App may temporarily store map or route tile cache files on the device to improve map performance. These cache files may remain until they are deleted by the App’s reset function, cleared by the operating system, or removed when the user clears app data or uninstalls the App.
5.3 Exported and shared files
Backup files, exported files, shared reports, GPX files, route images, or media files saved outside the App remain wherever the user saved or shared them. The App cannot automatically delete copies stored in external storage, cloud services, email, messaging apps, or other third-party destinations.
5.4 Support inquiries
If the user contacts us by email or another support channel, we may retain the inquiry and related contact information for up to 1 year after the inquiry is resolved, unless a longer retention period is required by law, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or security purposes.
5.5 Purchase records
Purchase and payment records are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their own policies. The App may retain local purchase count, support status, or thank-you display status on the device until the user resets app data, removes the App, or replaces local data.
5.6 Advertising data
Data collected by Google Mobile Ads SDK is handled according to Google’s policies and retention practices. Users may manage or reset advertising identifiers through Android or Google settings where available.
6. Data Deletion
Users can delete their data in the following ways.
6.1 Delete data inside the App
The App provides a reset function that allows users to delete local app data.
To delete all local app data, open:
Settings > Data > Reset All Data
Using this function deletes local app records, settings, saved routes, interested-person records, schedules, goals, stopwatch records, copied app media, local database data, route tracking preferences, and route map cache stored by the App.
This action cannot be undone.
6.2 Delete individual records
Users may delete individual records, schedules, people records, notes, routes, media references, or other entries through the relevant App screens where deletion options are provided.
Deleting a media reference inside the App may not delete the original photo or video from the device gallery if the App only stored a gallery reference. Users must delete original gallery files directly from their device gallery or file manager if they want to remove those files completely.
6.3 Delete data through Android system settings
Users may also delete local App data by using Android system settings:
Android Settings > Apps > Ministry > Storage > Clear data
Users may also uninstall the App to remove local app data stored in the App’s private storage.
6.4 Delete exported or shared files
If the user exported a backup file, GPX file, route image, monthly report, media file, or other file outside the App, the user must delete that exported or shared copy from the location where it was saved or shared, such as device storage, cloud storage, email, messaging apps, or other third-party services.
6.5 Delete data held by the developer
The App does not require users to create an account. Therefore, there is no app account to delete.
If the user has contacted us for support and wants us to delete support inquiry records or other information that we may hold, the user may contact us at:
rlawldks3753@gmail.com
We will review and respond to deletion requests within a reasonable period. We may retain limited information if required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business recordkeeping.
7. App Account Deletion
The App does not require users to create an account, sign in, or register a user identity.
Because the App does not provide app account creation, there is no separate app account deletion process. Users can delete local app data using the deletion methods described in Section 6.
If a future version of the App adds account creation, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide account deletion options as required.
8. Permissions Used by the App
The App may request the following permissions depending on the user’s device and App features used.
Location permission
Used for current-location, map, address/location selection, and route tracking features. Location access is optional, and route tracking works only when the user grants permission and starts the feature.
Notification permission
Used to show reminders, schedule notifications, stopwatch notifications, or route tracking foreground service notifications where supported by Android.
Photos, videos, and file access
Used when the user chooses to attach media, select files, export backups, import backups, or share files. The user controls which files are selected, exported, imported, or shared.
Internet and network access
Used for ads, Google Play Billing, map services, remote configuration, notices, and other network-based features.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect user data processed by the App.
Most user-created data is stored locally on the user’s device and is protected by the Android app sandbox and device security features. Network communications used by third-party services, such as advertising, billing, maps, or remote configuration, may use secure transport where supported.
Users should protect their device with a screen lock and should be careful when exporting, backing up, or sharing files. Exported backup files or shared files may contain personal information, including service records, notes, route records, interested-person records, and media files. The App does not control the security of external storage locations, cloud services, messaging apps, email providers, or other destinations selected by the user.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App or to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
11. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services or SDKs, including:
Google Mobile Ads SDK for advertising.
Google Play Billing for optional purchases.
Google Maps, MapLibre, OpenFreeMap, CARTO, or other map or tile-related services for map and route features.
Android system services, such as geocoding, file picker, sharing, notifications, and location services.
These third-party services may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms.
12. User Choices and Controls
Users can control their data in the following ways:
Grant or deny location permission in Android settings.
Grant or deny notification permission in Android settings.
Delete individual records in the App.
Use Settings > Data > Reset All Data to delete local app data.
Clear app data or uninstall the App through Android settings.
Choose whether to export, back up, import, or share data.
Delete exported files from external storage, cloud storage, email, or other destinations.
Manage advertising ID settings through Android or Google settings where available.
13. International Data Processing
Third-party services used by the App may process information on servers located in different countries or regions. By using features that rely on those services, users understand that data may be processed outside their country or region according to the relevant third-party service provider’s policies.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted means that the updated Privacy Policy applies to the App.
