LifePal (the "App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Our core philosophy is simple: Your data belongs to you, and it stays on your device.
1. Data Collection and Usage
LifePal allows you to manually enter and manage the following types of data:
•Financial Transactions: Earn and Spend entries to track your budget.
•Personal Notes: Text-based notes for personal organization.
•Reminders: Titles and schedules for your tasks.
•Voice Recordings: If you use the voice reminder feature, the App records audio to play back as an alert.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of this personal data to external servers. The developer has no access to your financial records, notes, or audio files.
2. Permissions and Why We Need Them
To provide its core features, LifePal requests the following permissions:
•Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Used exclusively to allow you to record voice notes for your reminders. Audio is recorded only when you tap the record button. These recordings are stored locally on your device and are never shared or uploaded.
•Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send you alerts for your scheduled reminders.
•Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Required to ensure that your reminders trigger at the exact time you have specified, even if the device is in power-saving mode.
•Storage (READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Used only to allow you to export your data (such as summaries) into CSV/Excel files and to save voice reminders to your device.
•Internet Access: Used only when you click on external links (such as support emails or our social media pages).
3. Data Storage and Security
•Local Storage only: All data created in LifePal is stored in a private database on your mobile device. We do not use cloud storage or sync services.
•Security: Because your data is stored locally, its security depends on your device's security settings (e.g., PIN, pattern, or fingerprint lock).
4. Third-Party Services and Tracking
•No Tracking: We do not use analytics, cookies, or any tracking SDKs to monitor your app usage.
•No Ads: The app does not display third-party advertisements.
•External Links: The app contains links to our social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube). These platforms have their own privacy policies.
•Donations: Voluntary contributions via UPI (GPay, PhonePe) or PayPal are processed by those respective third-party providers.
5. Data Deletion and Your Rights
You have full control over your data. Since we do not store your data on our servers, you can delete your data at any time by:
1.Deleting individual items within the App.
2.Clearing App Data via your Android System Settings (Settings > Apps > LifePal > Storage > Clear Data).
3.Uninstalling the App, which will permanently remove all data and voice recordings from your device.
6. Children’s Privacy
LifePal does not knowingly collect personal information from children. All data is stored locally on the user's device, and we have no access to user age-related information.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
