PRIVACY POLICY — Library Staff Commander

Library Staff Commander ("the App") is developed and maintained by an independent developer

("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you

use it.

1. OFFLINE APP — NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER

Library Staff Commander is designed to work fully offline. The App does not require you to

create an account or sign in to use its core features, and it does not operate a backend

server. All data you enter is stored locally on your device's own storage. We never receive,

transmit, or have access to the data you enter into the App.

2. DATA YOU ENTER INTO THE APP

The App lets you store the following types of information locally on your device:

- Staff profiles: name, role, department, position, phone, email, hire date, and an optional

  photo

- Work schedules and assigned shifts

- Attendance records (check-in / check-out times and status)

- Leave requests (type, dates, reason, and approval status)

- Internal announcements

- Book and media catalog entries (title, author, ISBN, media type, shelf location, copy counts)

- Circulation records, including borrower name, borrower contact information, checkout and due

  dates, and return status

This information is entered by you and is intended for your library's internal record-keeping.

None of this data is collected, viewed, or transmitted by us.

3. DATA RETENTION — HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR DATA

We do not store your data at all — it lives only in the App's local database on your device

for as long as you keep the App installed and keep that data in the App. Because we never hold

a copy of your data, there is nothing on our end to retain or delete once you remove it from

the App or uninstall the App.

4. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA

You can delete your data at any time using either of the following methods:

(a) Delete individual staff, schedule, attendance, leave, announcement, or collection/circulation

    records directly within the App's own screens.

(b) Uninstall the App from your device — this permanently removes the App's local database and

    all data stored in it.

(c) Go to Android Settings → Apps → Library Staff Commander → Storage → Clear Data (or Clear

    Storage) to erase all locally stored App data without uninstalling the App.

Because all data resides only on your device, these actions fully and permanently delete it —

we hold no copy to remove on our end.

5. BACKUP FILES YOU CREATE

The App includes an optional Backup & Restore feature (available to Premium users) that lets

you export your data into a ZIP file and later restore it. These backup files are created and

stored only on your own device (or wherever you choose to save/share them, such as your own

cloud storage or file manager). We do not receive, store, or have access to these backup files

at any point.

6. PERMISSIONS THE APP USES

The App may request the following device permissions:

- Camera: to let you take a photo directly for a staff profile

- Photos/Media/Storage (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): to

  let you attach an existing photo to a staff profile, and to save/read backup ZIP files and

  exported PDF schedule/report files

- Internet: used only to process optional Premium purchases through Google Play's in-app

  billing system; the App's core features do not require an internet connection and no

  personal or App data is transmitted over the internet by us

These permissions are used solely to provide the App's local functionality and are not used to

collect or transmit your data to us.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is intended for library staff and administrative use and is not directed at children

under 13. Since the App stores data only locally on the device and we never receive any data,

no personal information about children is collected or retained by us in any case.

8. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The App offers an optional one-time Premium upgrade processed entirely through Google Play's

in-app billing service. Purchase processing is handled by Google; we do not receive your

payment details. Please refer to Google Play's own privacy policy for information on how it

handles purchase-related data: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Other than Google Play billing for optional Premium purchases, the App does not integrate any

other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an

updated "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after any

changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
