The app reads the following health and fitness data via Android Health Services on the user's Wear OS device:
Step count (daily total)
Calories burned (daily total)
Distance traveled (daily total)
Floors climbed (daily total)
Elevation gain (daily total)
Heart rate (beats per minute)
All data is used solely to display the corresponding complications on the user's watch face. Data is cached locally in the app's on-device DataStore so complications can render without re-querying sensors.
All data is stored only on the user's device in AndroidX DataStore.
The app does not transmit any health data over the network.
The app does not use any analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party services.
The app does not share data with any third party.
Cached health data is overwritten as new data arrives.
Daily metrics are reset when a new day begins.
Users can clear all cached data by uninstalling the app, which removes the DataStore entirely.
ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION — required to read steps, calories, distance, floors, and elevation.
BODY_SENSORS (API ≤35) / android.permission.health.READ_HEART_RATE (API ≥36) — required to read heart rate.
BODY_SENSORS_BACKGROUND (API ≤35) / android.permission.health.READ_HEALTH_DATA_IN_BACKGROUND (API ≥36) — required to receive passive heart-rate updates in the background so the heart-rate complication stays current without opening the app.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to re-register the passive listener after device reboot.
Users can grant or revoke any permission at any time via Android Settings → Apps → It's Complicated → Permissions. Revoking a permission causes the corresponding complication to display "Open app" until permission is re-granted.
The app is not directed at children and does not target children as defined by COPPA / Google Play Families Policy.
The app complies with the Google Play User Data Policy and Health Apps Policy. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and should not be used for medical decision-making.
