Focus Words: Custom motivational words you enter
Mood Selections: Emoji-based mood choices
Daily Check-ins: Your daily "Done" or "Missed" status marks
Notification Preferences: Time settings for daily reminders
Customization Settings: Colors, text sizes, and wallpaper preferences
Wallpaper Images: Generated wallpaper images stored in app cache
All this data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your locally stored data is used solely for:
Goal Tracking: Displaying your progress on wallpapers
Daily Reminders: Sending local notifications at your chosen time
Wallpaper Generation: Creating custom wallpapers based on your inputs
App Functionality: Saving your preferences and settings

All data is stored locally on your device using Hive (encrypted database) and SharedPreferences

Only the Intent app can access its own data files

We DO NOT share, sell, rent, or transmit your data to any third parties.

5. Permissions We Request
Intent requires the following Android permissions:
5.1 Required Permissions:
SET_WALLPAPER
Purpose: To set your generated wallpaper as lock screen or home screen
Data Access: None - only modifies wallpaper display
Can be denied: No - core functionality requires this
POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+)
Purpose: To send you daily goal reminder notifications
Data Access: None - notifications are generated locally
Can be denied: Yes - app will work without notifications
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM
Purpose: To ensure notifications arrive at your exact chosen time
Data Access: None - only schedules local alarms
Can be denied: Yes - notifications may be less accurate
USE_EXACT_ALARM
Purpose: Alternative permission for exact timing on some devices
Data Access: None
Can be denied: Yes
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
Purpose: To reschedule notifications after device restart
Data Access: None - only restores scheduled notifications
Can be denied: No - required for notification persistence
5.2 Storage Access:
The app stores wallpaper images in its own private directory
No access to your photos, media, or other files
Generated wallpapers are only accessible by the Intent app
6. Children's Privacy
Intent does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. The app is intended for general audiences and does not contain any age-restricted content. No personal information is collected from any users, including children.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
7.1 How Long We Keep Data:
Data is stored locally on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app
7.2 How to Delete Your Data:
Option 1: Clear Specific Items
Go to Library → Delete individual goals, focus words, or mood wallpapers
Option 2: Clear All App Data
Android Settings → Apps → Intent → Storage → Clear Data
Option 3: Uninstall
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all your data from the device
Important: Since all data is stored locally, we cannot recover data after deletion.
8. International Users
Intent is available worldwide. Since all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted, no international data transfers occur. Your data never leaves your device regardless of your location.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
