Privacy Policy — Idea Notebook
This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application **Idea Notebook** (“the App”) handles information when you use it on your device.
## Summary
Idea Notebook is designed to work **offline-first**. Your ideas, categories, and favorites are stored **locally on your device** using the platform’s standard local storage mechanisms (for example, SharedPreferences on Android and iOS). We do **not** operate a backend server for this app version, and we do **not** require you to create an account.
## Information stored on your device
The App may store the following types of information **only on your device**:
- Idea titles, note text, emoji selections
- Category names and emoji labels
- Favorite flags and timestamps used for sorting
This data remains under your control on your phone or tablet.
## Sharing and export
When you use **Export** or **Share**, content is sent through your operating system’s **share sheet** to destinations **you** choose (for example, another app, email, or cloud storage). The App does not control third-party services; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
## Analytics, advertising, and tracking
This version of Idea Notebook does **not** include third-party advertising SDKs or behavioral analytics as part of the core app described here. If you integrate or modify the project with additional services, you must update this policy and your Play Console disclosures accordingly.
## Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through a modified build of the App, contact the publisher of that build.
## Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when revisions are published. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
## Contact
For privacy questions about **this** open-source / local-first build of Idea Notebook, contact the developer or team responsible for publishing the app on Google Play, using the support email or website shown in your store listing.
