No Chat / Audio / Video Recording: All video and voice calls are conducted in real time. We do not record, capture, monitor, or store your live video or audio streams on any server.
End-to-End Encrypted Media: Voice and video media streams are transmitted directly between participating peers using industry-standard WebRTC protocols with DTLS-SRTP (Datagram Transport Layer Security / Secure Real-time Transport Protocol) encryption.

To enable real-time communication features, Haslo Connect requests the following device permissions only when necessary:
Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Required solely to capture your local video during active video calls. Your camera feed is streamed directly to the user you are connected with. We never record, save, or snapshot your camera stream.
Microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO): Required solely to capture your voice during active voice and video calls.Â
Bluetooth (android.permission.BLUETOOTH_CONNECT): Allows routing audio seamlessly to your connected Bluetooth headphones or wireless earpieces during calls.
Audio Settings (android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS): Enables toggling audio between speakerphone, earpiece, and headphones for a smooth calling experience.
Network State (android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used to detect if an active internet connection is present to avoid failed connection attempts.
