CodePundit ("we", "us", or "our") provides Glass Studio, listed on Google Play as Glass Studio: Minimal Widgets, with package ID com.codepundit.glassstudio. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use its widgets and optional features.
Privacy contact: codepunditofficial@gmail.com
Glass Studio is offered as a one-time paid download through Google Play. The intended purchase price in India is ₹49; the price displayed by Google Play at checkout applies in your country. The current version has no recurring subscription or additional in-app purchases.
Google Play processes your payment under Google's applicable terms and privacy policies. Glass Studio does not collect your payment-card number, bank-account details, UPI PIN, or payment credentials. Purchase-related information available to CodePundit through Google Play, or supplied by you when requesting help, may be used for purchase support, refunds where applicable, accounting, and legal obligations. Purchasing the app does not create a Glass Studio account.
Depending on the features you choose, the app accesses or stores:
Widget settings and content: saved designs, favorites, recently viewed designs, colors, typography, notes, lists, countdown dates, selected locations, and app preferences.
Selected images: photos and custom artwork that you explicitly choose. The app makes private, resized copies for reliable widget display. It does not upload these images to CodePundit.
Selected contacts: a name and phone number returned by the Android contact picker, for a contact shortcut. The app does not request access to your entire address book.
Calendar events: event titles and start times, when you grant calendar access, to show upcoming events.
Physical activity and sensors: observed step counts and tracking state, when you enable step tracking, and compass readings when you use the compass feature.
Screen activity: Android screen-interaction events, when you grant usage access, to calculate screen time locally.
Music: metadata and artwork from compatible active media sessions, such as track title, artist, and playback state, to display music widgets and send playback commands.
Device information: battery level and charging state, available storage, memory totals, device model, Android version, time zone, and connected audio-device information for the corresponding widgets.
App shortcuts: information about launchable apps, such as names and icons, and the apps you select for shortcuts.
This information is used to operate the selected features. The current app does not include advertising, analytics, or remote crash-reporting SDKs, and does not require an account or provide a developer-operated cloud-sync service. We do not sell personal information or use widget content for targeted advertising.
Some features require internet access. Requests are made directly from your device to the relevant service:
Android city lookup: when you search for a city during prayer setup, your search text is passed to Android's optional geocoding service. The operating system and its configured service provider handle that request under their applicable policies. Availability depends on the device.
AlAdhan: receives the selected coordinates, requested dates, time-related settings where applicable, and prayer-calculation settings to provide prayer times.
AlQuran Cloud: receives requested passage identifiers to retrieve Quran content.
TheSportsDB: receives sports-event request identifiers to retrieve supported sports information.
Google Search: receives the search terms you submit when the search widget opens your browser.
The current app uses locations that you select or configure; it does not request GPS location permission. A selected location can still be personal information, especially if you choose your home location.
As with other internet requests, providers receive your IP address and request information and may process connection logs under their own policies. Provider services may operate outside your country. Glass Studio uses HTTPS for its direct content-provider API requests. Android manages its platform geocoding service separately. The app does not include photos, contacts, notes, calendar events, step counts, or screen-time readings in those API requests.
Shortcuts may open other apps, websites, the dialer, or a messaging app. Information needed for your chosen action, such as a selected telephone number or search query, is passed to that destination. Those services handle subsequent activity under their own policies. Displayed widget content is also passed to your Android launcher or widget host so that it can appear on your home screen.
You can use basic widgets without enabling every optional permission. Calendar access supports event widgets; physical-activity access supports steps; usage access supports screen-time calculations; and notification-listener access supports active media sessions and music controls. The app does not use notification access to collect or upload unrelated notification messages.
Notification permission is used for app notifications such as the ongoing step-tracking controls. Step tracking runs as a foreground service when you start it, and can be stopped through its controls. Photo and contact selection use Android's selection interfaces.
You can decline access or revoke permissions in Android settings. You can also disable notification-listener and usage access there. The corresponding feature may stop working, while unrelated widgets remain available.
Widget settings, imported images, drafts, local activity readings, and cached provider responses are kept in the app's local storage as needed for its operation. Some readings are updated or replaced over time. Removing a home-screen widget does not necessarily delete its saved drafts, cached data, or imported image copies.
To remove the app's private local data, use Android Settings to clear Glass Studio's storage, or uninstall the app. This resets your saved configurations and imported copies. Your original photos, files you export or save outside the app, applied wallpaper, and data held by external services are not necessarily removed by these actions. Permissions and special access can be managed separately in Android settings.
If you contact CodePundit, we receive the email address, message, and any information or attachments you choose to send. Please avoid sending sensitive widget content unless necessary. Support correspondence is retained while needed to handle your request and related legitimate business or legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of support information, subject to records we must retain.
Google and external providers control retention and deletion of information they process. Clearing Glass Studio's storage does not delete your Google Play purchase history or provider-side records. The app has no Glass Studio account to delete.
The app uses Android's app-storage protections and access controls, and HTTPS for its API requests. Widget content is visible through your launcher to people who can view the relevant home screen. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Glass Studio is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's information through a Glass Studio account or developer-operated collection service. Optional services and Android permissions still apply to younger users. A parent or guardian who believes personal information was sent to CodePundit can contact us to request assistance or deletion.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of personal information. Contact codepunditofficial@gmail.com to make a request about information held by CodePundit. We cannot remotely access or retrieve your private app-storage content. Requests about data held by Google or other providers may need to be directed to those providers.
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The updated policy will show a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request permission before introducing materially different processing.
