DATA STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE ONLY

GhostBrowse stores the following in Chrome's local storage, on your device only, never transmitted:

- Your Pro license key (to verify activation)

- Your extension settings (auto-wipe, tracker blocking, search engine preference, auto-close timer)

- Your custom favorites list

- Lifetime session count statistics

LICENSE VERIFICATION

When you activate a Pro license key, the key is sent once to Gumroad's API solely to verify its validity. No other data is transmitted. This is a one-time check per activation.

PERMISSIONS USED

All permissions (sidePanel, storage, browsingData, declarativeNetRequest, tabs, alarms) are used solely to provide the private session management features described in the extension listing. No permission is used to collect or transmit user data.
