Privacy Policy for TUNNEL PRO - Network Utility

1. Introduction
TUNNEL PRO - Network Utility ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application that provides secure network tunneling and utility features (SSH, V2Ray, and related protocols). This Privacy Policy explains what your tunneled traffic is never exposed to, what data is collected on our behalf by the third-party services we use to keep the app free (advertising and analytics), and the choices available to you. We do not sell your personal data.
2. Your Network Traffic — What We Do Not Collect
Regardless of the third-party services described below, TUNNEL PRO:
Does not log or store your browsing history, traffic destinations, the content of your traffic, or your DNS queries.
Does not collect information about other apps installed on your device (we do not use the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission).
Does not have access to the data transmitted through your encrypted tunnel.
3. Permissions and Use of Data
Our app requests certain permissions to function as a network utility:
VpnService — creates a secure, local tunnel at the device level to route network traffic through your chosen configuration. This is the app's core function.
Internet Access — required to establish the secure connection and perform basic network checks.
Notifications — shows the current status of the tunnel connection and keeps the connection service from being stopped by the system; also used to deliver optional service notifications (see Section 5).
Boot Completed — lets the app resume your last tunnel configuration automatically after your device restarts, if enabled.
Wake Lock / Battery Optimization Exemption — keeps the tunnel connection stable in the background.
SIM's carrier information: Some features of this app are only available to users in certain countries or on certain carriers. To determine this, we check your SIM's carrier information locally, on your device — this information is never sent anywhere or shared with anyone.
4. Advertising and Analytics
TUNNEL PRO is an ad-supported app. To keep the app free, we use Google AdMob to show ads (banner, interstitial, and app-open ads) and Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage. These Google services may collect and process, on our behalf:
Advertising and device identifiers (such as your Android Advertising ID).
General technical data (device model, OS version, language, approximate location derived from IP address).
App interaction data (screens viewed, features used, ad impressions/clicks) — never the contents or destinations of your tunneled traffic.
This data is used to serve and measure ads, detect invalid traffic, and understand feature usage. It does not include your name, email address, or phone number. These services are provided by Google LLC and are additionally governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising policies.
5. Push Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver status and service notifications to your device. This requires a device-specific push token, which is not linked to your name or other personal identifiers.
6. Your Privacy Choices
EEA / UK / Switzerland users: on first launch (and periodically thereafter) we ask for your consent to ad personalization through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), a certified Consent Management Platform. Review or change your choice anytime via Settings → Privacy Options.
All users: you can limit ad personalization at the device level (Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization") and review Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
Uninstalling the app stops all data collection associated with it.
7. Children's Privacy
TUNNEL PRO is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us using the information below so we can remove it.
8. Security
All network traffic processed within the local tunnel is encrypted and handled securely on your device. We do not have access to any data transmitted through the tunnel.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above.
