To provide our core utilities, the app requests the following device permissions:
- **Camera (`android.permission.CAMERA`)**: Used solely when you take photos within the "Scan Document" feature. Images captured by your camera are processed locally into PDFs and are never transmitted to our servers.
- **Photos / Media / Storage (`READ_MEDIA_IMAGES` / Scoped Storage)**: Used to allow you to select local PDF documents and images for viewing, merging, or compression.
- **Notifications (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`)**: Used to send occasional local utility reminders or completion notifications.
