Overview Strippi is available on macOS, iPad, and iPhone and is designed to redact personally identifiable information (PII) from documents and images. This privacy policy explains how Strippi handles your data.
No Data Collection Strippi does not collect, store, transmit, or share any data about you or your documents. Specifically:
We do not collect personal information
We do not collect usage data or analytics
We do not collect crash logs or diagnostic data
We do not track how you use the app
We do not have access to any documents or images you process
Your Documents and Images Stay on Your Device All document and image processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks. Your documents and images never leave your device. We have no servers, no cloud storage, and no ability to access your files. This applies across all platforms: macOS, iPad, and iPhone.
In-App Purchase Strippi offers a one-time Pro upgrade via Apple's in-app purchase system. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information. Third Party Frameworks Strippi uses the following Apple frameworks which run entirely on your device:
Apple Vision framework - for OCR text recognition and image processing
Apple Natural Language framework - for PII detection
Apple PDFKit - for PDF processing
Apple StoreKit - for in-app purchase
No third party SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking libraries are used.
Children's Privacy Strippi does not knowingly collect any information from anyone including children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy If we make changes to this privacy policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
