Rocket POS System ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our application, Rocket Kiosk, collects, uses, and discloses your information in connection with the Rocket POS Ecosystem.
1. Information Collection and Use
Rocket Kiosk is a B2B application designed for Nail Salons and Spas to manage customer check-ins. To function correctly, the application requires access to certain features on your device.
A. Device Permissions
We request access to the following device features only when necessary for specific functionalities:
Camera:
Purpose: The app uses the camera to scan QR codes for quick check-in and to capture customer profile photos if requested by the salon.
Data Handling: Images are processed locally or uploaded directly to your verified salon management database. We do not use this data for any other purpose.
Bluetooth & Local Network:
Purpose: Required to discover and connect to thermal printers (ticket printers) within your salon.
Data Handling: This connection is strictly for transmitting print commands (check-in tickets). We do not collect or store any data from your local network traffic.
Location Services:
Purpose: On certain operating systems, access to Location is technically required to scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices (printers).
Data Handling: We do not track, store, or share your physical GPS location. This permission is used solely to facilitate the Bluetooth connection.
Microphone (If applicable):
Purpose: May be used for specific voice-command features or video attachments if supported.
Data Handling: Audio is not recorded or stored unless explicitly triggered by the user for a specific business action.
B. Account Information
Rocket Kiosk does not support public sign-ups. Access is granted via credentials provided directly by Rocket POS System to merchant partners upon signing a service contract.
Log Data: We may collect diagnostic logs (crash reports, performance data) to improve application stability.
2. Data Usage and Sharing
Service Provision: Data entered into Rocket Kiosk (customer names, phone numbers, services selected) is synchronized in real-time with the Rocket POS System (the main management platform) used by the salon.
No Third-Party Sales: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to users or third-party marketing companies.
Business Operations: Data is used exclusively for the purpose of managing salon operations, queuing, and customer history within the signed merchant's database.
3. Data Retention
We retain business data as long as the merchant has an active contract with Rocket POS System. Upon contract termination, data is handled and deleted in accordance with our Terms of Service and data processing agreements.
4. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your Rights (For End-Customers)
If you are a customer of a salon using Rocket Kiosk and wish to delete your data or inquire about your personal information, please contact the salon owner directly. They are the data controllers who manage your information via our system.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
