Overview

Moodle Bulk Downloader helps users find and download course files from a Moodle course page. The extension does not sell personal data, use analytics or advertising, or send Moodle course content to external servers.

Website content

After the user opens the extension, it reads the active Moodle course page and approved same-site course pages to locate course names, section names, filenames, and download links. This information is processed locally inside the user's browser and is not transmitted to the developer or any third party.

Downloads

The extension uses Chrome's downloads system to save only the Moodle files selected by the user. Files are downloaded directly from the user's Moodle website to the user's computer.

Local preferences

Language, download structure, tutorial completion, and course category corrections may be stored locally in the user's browser. These preferences are not transmitted externally.

Data sharing and sale

The extension does not collect, sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties. It does not use user data for advertising, credit decisions, or purposes unrelated to its single purpose.

Permissions

activeTab allows the extension to access the Moodle page only after the user opens the extension.

scripting allows the packaged local scanner to run on the active Moodle tab.

downloads allows the extension to save the files explicitly selected by the user.

Remote code

The extension does not use remote code. All executable JavaScript is included in the extension package.

User responsibility

Users are responsible for downloading only course materials they are authorized to access.
