1. Introduction
Welcome to LitePDF Reader.
LitePDF Reader ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") is a PDF utility application designed to help users find, open, read, and create PDF documents on their Android devices.
We value your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how information is accessed, processed, and handled when you use our App.
This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding device permissions, local file processing, third-party services, data collection, data security, and your privacy choices.
By using LitePDF Reader, you acknowledge the information described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Access and Process
2.1 PDF Files and Documents
LitePDF Reader provides features that allow users to:
Search for PDF documents stored on their devices.
Open and read existing PDF files.
Capture images using the device camera.
Create PDF documents from captured images.
To perform these functions, the App may access PDF files and related document information stored on your device.
PDF documents and captured images are processed locally on your device. We do not upload your PDF files, document contents, or captured images to our servers.
Your documents remain under your control and are stored according to your device's storage settings.
2.2 Device Storage Access
LitePDF Reader may request access to device storage, including All Files Access permission (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE), where necessary to support its core document discovery and access functionality.
This permission allows the App to locate and access supported PDF documents stored in different locations on your device.
Storage access is used for document-related features and is not intended for collecting personal files for advertising or unrelated purposes.
You may manage or revoke storage permissions through your device settings. Some document discovery or access features may become unavailable if the required permissions are denied.
2.3 Camera Access
When you choose to create a PDF using your device's camera, LitePDF Reader may request camera permission.
Camera access is used to capture images for PDF creation.
The captured images and resulting PDF documents are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers.
You can deny or revoke camera access through your device settings, although doing so may prevent camera-based PDF creation.
2.4 Account Information
LitePDF Reader does not require account registration or user login.
You can use the App's document features without creating an account or providing registration credentials.
3. Third-Party Services and Data Collection
Although document processing is performed locally, LitePDF Reader integrates third-party services that may automatically collect and process certain technical information.
These services include:

However, technical information collected through integrated Google AdMob and Firebase services may be transmitted to and processed by Google and its relevant service providers in accordance with their applicable privacy policies and service terms.
We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or valid legal process.
We do not intentionally disclose locally stored document contents to third-party advertising or analytics services.
6. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Local Documents
PDF files and captured documents are processed and stored locally on your device.
You can manage or delete these files using the App's available features or your device's file management tools.
Uninstalling LitePDF Reader may remove application-specific data, but documents saved in shared device storage may remain until you delete them.

Retention periods may vary depending on the relevant service, configuration, and legal requirements.
Privacy and Deletion Requests
Because LitePDF Reader does not provide user accounts or store your document contents on our servers, there is no application account to delete.

7. Data Security
We take the protection of user information seriously.
Document processing is performed locally on your device, and your PDF files and captured images are not transmitted to our servers.
For technical information transmitted through Google AdMob and Firebase, the respective service providers implement security measures, including encryption in transit for supported data transmissions.
However, no software application, storage system, or method of electronic communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We encourage users to keep their devices updated and use appropriate device security protections.

10. International Data Processing

Such processing is governed by the applicable policies, safeguards, and legal requirements of the relevant service providers.
Document contents processed locally by LitePDF Reader are not uploaded to our servers as part of the App's PDF functionality.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
