1. INTRODUCTION

At Key Touch, user privacy and data protection are our top priorities. This Privacy Policy outlines how Key Touch handles, processes, and protects your information. Key Touch is built on a local-first architecture: your keystrokes and private data remain strictly on your personal device.

2. KEYSTROKES & TYPING DATA SECURITY

• Zero Keystroke Logging: Key Touch NEVER records, collects, logs, or transmits your keystrokes, passwords, credit card numbers, or typed text to external servers.

• Local Processing: All text input, auto-correction, and predictive typing calculations occur 100% locally on your device.

• Personalized Dictionary (Learned Words): Words learned to improve typing suggestions are stored in a local database (Room DB) strictly on your device and are never uploaded to cloud servers or shared with third parties.

3. LOCAL STORAGE & UTILITIES

• Clipboard Manager: Text snippets copied to your clipboard are managed locally in memory and local storage for quick access in the keyboard. Clipboard data is not accessed by or sent to third parties.

• Notes & Quick Text: Any notes or quick shortcuts created within Key Touch are saved in local device storage and are never synchronized remotely.

• Themes & Customization: Your theme selections, keyboard height, and preferences are stored locally in EncryptedSharedPreferences/DataStore.

4. CRYPTOGRAPHIC SECURITY & ENCRYPTION

• Secure Messaging: Encrypted messages are generated using military-grade AES-256 GCM encryption combined with Zero-Width steganography.

• KeyStore Protection: Encryption keys and saved passwords are saved securely using Android KeyStore and EncryptedSharedPreferences. They are strictly non-exportable and never leave your hardware.

5. SOCIAL MEDIA & MEDIA HELPER

• Media Streaming: When you use the video download helper, public media links are resolved and streamed directly to your local storage (Gallery under 'Movies/KeyTouch_Videos/').

• No User Tracking: Key Touch does not track your download history or view your downloaded media files.

• Platform Compliance: In strict adherence to Google Play Store policies, Key Touch DOES NOT support downloading media from YouTube.

6. DEVICE PERMISSIONS DISCLOSURES

Key Touch requests only essential permissions required for specific user-initiated features:

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Used exclusively for Voice Typing input via system speech recognition. Audio is not recorded or retained by Key Touch.

• Camera (CAMERA): Used solely for the QR Code Scanner panel to scan QR text locally using Google ML Kit. No camera frames are stored or transmitted.

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to show real-time progress and completion alerts for media downloads.

• Storage (READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on Android 9 and lower): Used solely for saving downloaded media to your public Gallery on older Android versions.

• Vibration (VIBRATE): Used to provide haptic feedback during key presses.

7. ADVERTISING & THIRD-PARTY SDKS

Key Touch uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show unobtrusive advertisements:

• Google AdMob: May collect anonymized device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage statistics according to Google's Privacy Policy to serve ads.

• Privacy Guard: Third-party ad SDKs have ZERO access to your keyboard input, clipboard, notes, or encrypted messages.

8. DATA CONTROL & DELETION

Since your data is stored locally, you maintain total control. You can clear all app data, learned dictionary words, clipboard history, and notes at any time through Android System Settings > Apps > Key Touch > Storage > Clear Data, or by uninstalling the application.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Key Touch does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13.
