Key Touch ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application Key Touch collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

A. Keyboard & Text Data

We do NOT collect or transmit your keystrokes, passwords, or personal messages. All keyboard input processing (including word prediction, Sinhala/Japanese transliteration, and text completion) happens locally on your device.

B. Permissions Used & Features

- Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Used only when you activate the Voice Typing feature to convert your speech into text. Audio data is processed locally or via the system speech recognition service and is not stored by us.

- Camera: Used strictly for scanning QR codes within the app. No photos or video recordings are saved or uploaded.

- Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Used strictly to calculate accurate local planetary positions, sunrise/sunset times for the Vedic Astrology/Kundali feature. Location data is never tracked in the background or shared with third parties.

- Usage Stats (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): Used locally by the App Locker feature to detect when a protected app is launched and apply the PIN overlay.

- Foreground Services (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC): Used to provide the real-time Network Speed Meter status bar notification and maintain background App Lock protection.

2. Third-Party Services & Advertising

Our app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use pseudonymous device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) and performance data to serve relevant ads. You can manage or reset your Advertising ID via your device settings.

3. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical safeguards to protect your personal information. Since core functions operate locally on your device, your personal data remains private and secure.

4. Children's Privacy

Key Touch does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.
