Privacy Policy for Inventra – Smart Inventory

Inventra – Smart Inventory (“Inventra”, “we”, “our”, or “the App”) is a business productivity application designed to help users manage inventory, sales, purchases, expenses, customers, suppliers, reports, product codes, and other business-related information.

We value your privacy and are committed to handling your information responsibly and transparently.

1. Information Stored by Inventra

Inventra is designed primarily as a local-first application.

Business data created within the App is generally stored locally on the user’s device. This may include:

• Product information

• Product codes, SKU, barcode, and QR code values

• Product photos

• Inventory quantities and stock movements

• Sales transactions

• Purchase and receiving records

• Expenses

• Customer information entered by the user

• Supplier information entered by the user

• Business profile information

• Invoice and receipt information

• Goals and inventory settings

• Application preferences

• Language and currency preferences

• Notification and reminder settings

Inventra does not require users to create an online account to use its primary inventory and business management features.

2. Product Photos

Inventra allows users to select or capture product photos.

When a user chooses a product photo:

• the photo is processed locally on the device;

• the image may be resized or optimized;

• an “Inventra” watermark is added to the image;

• the processed image is stored in the App’s private local storage;

• the image may be included when the user manually creates a backup.

Inventra does not automatically upload product photos to our servers.

Users control whether they select or capture a product image.

3. Camera Access

Inventra may use the device camera for features such as:

• scanning barcodes;

• scanning QR codes;

• scanning product codes;

• capturing a product photo.

Camera access is used only when the user actively chooses a feature that requires the camera.

Inventra does not continuously access or record from the camera in the background.

4. Photos and Media

When selecting an existing product image, Inventra uses Android-supported system mechanisms such as the system Photo Picker or document picker where available.

The App does not require unrestricted access to all files or photos stored on the device.

The user explicitly selects the image to be used.

5. Barcode and QR Code Processing

Inventra may scan barcode, QR code, and alphanumeric product identifiers.

Scanned values are used as product identifiers for inventory-related functionality.

Inventra treats scanned content as an identifier and does not automatically execute URLs, Wi-Fi configuration, contact information, or other actions that may be encoded inside a QR code.

6. Backup, Restore, Import, and Export

Inventra provides user-initiated data management features including:

• Backup

• Restore

• Import

• Export

These operations are initiated by the user.

Backup files may contain business information stored in Inventra, including product photos where applicable.

When users export or share a file, they control the destination and recipient of that file.

Users are responsible for securely storing any exported or backup files.

7. Notifications

Inventra may provide notifications related to features such as:

• low stock;

• out-of-stock products;

• reorder recommendations;

• stockout forecasts;

• reminders;

• business summaries;

• other inventory-related events.

Notification permission is requested where required by the Android operating system.

Users can disable notifications through the App or device settings where supported.

8. Advertising

Inventra contains advertising.

The App uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide advertisements such as:

• banner ads;

• interstitial ads;

• rewarded ads.

Third-party advertising services may process certain device and usage information to provide, measure, secure, and improve advertising.

Depending on device settings, consent choices, applicable law, and Google services, this may include information such as:

• device or advertising identifiers;

• IP-address-derived approximate location;

• app interactions;

• advertising interactions;

• device information;

• diagnostic information.

Inventra does not independently sell users’ personal or sensitive information.

Google requires developers to account for data handling by third-party SDKs in their Data Safety disclosures.

9. Advertising Consent

Inventra uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) where applicable to provide privacy and advertising consent options.

Depending on the user’s region and applicable requirements, users may be shown a consent form before advertising services are initialized.

Advertising availability and personalization may depend on the user’s consent choices.

10. Advertising ID

Google advertising technologies used by Inventra may access the Android Advertising ID when permitted by the operating system and applicable user settings.

The Advertising ID is primarily used by advertising services for purposes such as:

• ad delivery;

• advertising measurement;

• fraud prevention;

• ad frequency management.

Inventra does not combine the Advertising ID with personally identifying business data stored by Inventra.

11. Business Data and Advertising

Business records entered into Inventra—such as products, stock quantities, sales amounts, customer records, supplier records, expenses, or invoice contents—are not intentionally provided to AdMob for advertisement targeting.

Advertising SDK operation is separate from Inventra’s locally stored business database.

12. Data Sharing

Inventra does not operate a central cloud database for the primary business records described in this policy.

Information may be processed or transmitted by third-party services integrated into the App where necessary to provide their functionality, particularly advertising and consent services.

Data may also leave the device when the user explicitly:

• exports a file;

• shares a report;

• shares an invoice;

• creates or transfers a backup;

• uses another user-directed sharing function.

Such user-initiated transfers are controlled by the user.

13. Data Retention

Business information stored locally within Inventra remains on the device until it is:

• modified by the user;

• deleted by the user;

• removed through application data clearing;

• removed when the App is uninstalled;

• replaced during a user-initiated restore where applicable.

Manual backup files may continue to exist outside the App until the user deletes them.

Advertising-related data processed by third-party providers is retained according to the applicable provider’s policies.

14. Data Security

Inventra uses reasonable technical safeguards designed to protect application data.

Measures include:

• storing core business data locally;

• using private app storage for internal product images;

• avoiding broad storage permissions;

• using user-controlled file selection for import/export;

• restricting cleartext network traffic where applicable;

• limiting Android permissions to features that require them;

• using supported Android security mechanisms.

However, no device, storage system, or electronic transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Users should protect their devices and any exported or backup files appropriately.

15. Permissions

Inventra requests only permissions required for supported functionality.

Depending on the Android version and features used, permissions may include:

Camera
Used for barcode/QR/product-code scanning and user-requested product photography.

Notifications
Used to deliver inventory alerts, reminders, and business-related notifications.

Advertising-related permission or identifier access
May be used by Google advertising services where permitted.

Inventra does not request broad device storage access for ordinary product photo selection or export functionality.

16. Children

Inventra is intended as a business and productivity application and is not specifically designed for children.

The App does not knowingly request children to submit personal information directly to Inventra.

17. International Use

Inventra may be used in multiple countries and supports features such as configurable language and currency.

Advertising and privacy requirements may vary by jurisdiction.

Where required, integrated services may provide region-specific consent mechanisms.

18. Your Choices

Users can control their information by:

• editing or deleting locally stored business records;

• choosing whether to add product photos;

• enabling or disabling notifications;

• controlling privacy and advertising consent where available;

• managing device permissions;

• creating or deleting backup/export files;

• uninstalling Inventra and deleting its local application data.

19. Third-Party Services

Inventra currently integrates services that may include:

Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK
Used to display advertisements and support advertising measurement and integrity.

Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
Used for privacy and advertising consent management where applicable.

Google ML Kit / Code Scanner functionality
May be used to provide barcode and product-code scanning functionality.

Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when:

• Inventra features change;

• third-party services change;

• legal or regulatory requirements change;

• Google Play requirements change.

When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy will be revised.

Users are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy.
