Privacy Policy
**Effective Date:** July 17, 2026
**Last Updated:** July 17, 2026
**Application:** InkMuse
**Operator:** Ramnil Lab Inc.
**Privacy Contact:** [contact@ramnil.com](mailto:contact@ramnil.com)
Ramnil Lab Inc. ("Ramnil Lab," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and otherwise process information when you use the InkMuse mobile application and related online services (collectively, the "Service").
InkMuse is an AI-assisted creative tool for developing tattoo concepts and previewing tattoo placement. Certain features require an internet connection and send the content and technical information needed to complete your request to our systems and service providers.
## 1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the Service and to privacy or support communications you send to us. It does not govern a third-party website, application, device feature, payment service, or sharing destination that operates under its own privacy policy.
## 2. Information We Process
The information we process depends on the features you use, your device settings, your location, and the configuration of the version of InkMuse available to you.
### A. Content You Provide
- **Photos and images.** Images you select, capture, or upload for photo-to-tattoo generation, tattoo extraction, or try-on features. An image may contain a face, body, skin, tattoo, object, background, or other personal information visible in the image, together with file information or metadata made available by your device.
- **Text and preferences.** Tattoo ideas, prompts, lettering text, selected styles, placement choices, edits, and other instructions you submit.
- **Reports and communications.** Content, reasons, descriptions, and contact information you provide when reporting an output, requesting support, exercising a privacy right, or otherwise contacting us.
Please submit only content that you are authorized to use. If an image or other content identifies another person, you are responsible for obtaining any permission required to provide and process it.
### B. Generated and Derived Information
We process tattoo concepts, lettering images, photo-derived designs, try-on previews, placement and editing settings, task and request identifiers, result links, and other information created or associated with a generation request.
### C. Identifiers and Technical Information
InkMuse and its service providers may process:
- an anonymous InkMuse user identifier and information associated with the user's feature-credit balance;
- an Android, device, app-instance, Firebase, AppsFlyer, or similar identifier;
- a Google Advertising ID or related advertising and attribution signal when available and permitted by your settings and applicable law;
- IP address, app version, package name, device model, operating-system version, language, country or region, time zone, network type, and connection information; and
- request, response, security, error, and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the Service.
InkMuse does not currently require an email address or phone number to access its core features, but the Service creates an anonymous service record so it can connect requests, results, and feature credits.
### D. Usage, Attribution, and Advertising Information
We and our providers may process app launches, page and feature interactions, button selections, generation type, style choice, upload or generation success and failure, try-on actions, saves, downloads, install or campaign attribution, ad interactions where advertising is enabled, and similar events.
### E. Purchase Information
If paid products, credits, or subscriptions are offered, we may process product identifiers, purchase status, order or transaction identifiers, entitlement and restoration information, and related events. Google Play processes payment credentials under its own terms. We do not receive your full payment-card number from Google Play.
## 3. How We Obtain Information
We obtain information:
- directly from you when you select an image, enter text, choose settings, report content, or contact us;
- automatically from the app, device, network, and our systems when you use the Service; and
- from service providers such as Google Play, analytics, attribution, advertising, hosting, storage, content-safety, and AI-processing providers.
## 4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide text-based and photo-based tattoo generation, lettering, inspiration, try-on, save, download, and related features;
- upload and process content, create generation tasks, return results, and maintain an anonymous service record and feature-credit balance;
- operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, test, and improve the Service;
- understand feature use, measure performance, and attribute installations or campaigns;
- provide and measure advertising where advertising is enabled and legally permitted;
- process purchases, restore entitlements, and prevent payment or credit abuse;
- review reports, enforce content rules, prevent fraud or misuse, and protect users, Ramnil Lab, and others;
- respond to support, privacy, and legal requests; and
- comply with law, legal process, and our agreements.
We may aggregate or de-identify information and use it for analytics, security, research, and service improvement where permitted by law. We do not attempt to re-identify information that we maintain in de-identified form except as permitted by law to test our de-identification measures.
## 5. AI and Image Processing
When you request an AI or image-processing feature, the text, image, style selection, and request information needed to complete that feature are transmitted to our systems and to providers that support generation, image processing, hosting, storage, delivery, and content safety. InkMuse uses Google Gemini for certain AI-generation functions and may use additional providers as the Service evolves.
We may use requests, outputs, reports, and related interaction information to provide and protect the Service, evaluate quality and safety, investigate misuse, and improve features, subject to applicable law and our arrangements with service providers.
AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, non-unique, or visually different from a real tattoo. Lettering may contain spelling, character, punctuation, number, or layout errors. Review every output carefully before saving, sharing, printing, presenting it to a tattoo artist, or using it for any real-world purpose.
## 6. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information as follows:
- **Service providers.** We use providers for application servers, hosting, storage, content delivery, AI and image processing, content safety, customer support, analytics, attribution, advertising, diagnostics, security, and payment support. They may process information only as needed to perform services for us or as otherwise described in their terms and privacy notices.
- **Named platform and measurement providers.** Depending on the Service configuration, these providers include Google Gemini, Google Firebase Analytics, Google Mobile Ads, Google Play Billing, and AppsFlyer.
- **At your direction.** When you save, export, download, or share an output, your device, operating system, gallery, file provider, or selected third-party service processes that content at your direction.
- **Legal, safety, and rights protection.** We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or is necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users, the public, or the integrity of the Service.
- **Business transactions.** Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
Some laws may characterize certain disclosures to advertising or attribution providers as a "sale," "sharing," or processing for targeted advertising, even when no money is exchanged for the information. Where such laws apply, you may exercise the relevant consent or opt-out rights by using available device controls or contacting us as described below.
## 7. Advertising and Analytics Choices
InkMuse may use Firebase Analytics and AppsFlyer to understand app use and installation attribution. Where advertising functionality is enabled, Google Mobile Ads and related services may process device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, attribution information, and technical information to provide, limit, secure, and measure ads.
Where local law gives you a consent or opt-out right, you may exercise it through any privacy controls made available in InkMuse, through Android or Google account settings, or by contacting us. Device controls may allow you to reset or delete your advertising identifier and manage ad-personalization choices. The availability and wording of these controls depend on your device and region.
To request an opt-out that applies under your local law, email [contact@ramnil.com](mailto:contact@ramnil.com) with the subject line "InkMuse Privacy Request."
## 8. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information:
- to perform our contract with you by providing the features you request;
- with your consent when we request it, including for optional analytics, attribution, advertising, or access to selected content;
- for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving the Service, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and
- to comply with legal obligations and protect legal rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
## 9. Retention and Deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide requested outputs, maintain feature credits and transaction records, protect the Service, resolve reports and support requests, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims. The retention period varies based on the type and sensitivity of the information, the feature used, whether an output remains available, legal requirements, and our security and operational needs.
In general:
- uploaded images, prompts, generation records, and outputs are retained for the time needed to process the request, deliver or maintain the result, investigate safety or abuse, resolve support issues, and satisfy applicable legal obligations;
- anonymous identifiers, credit records, usage events, and transaction records may be retained while the related service record is active and afterward where reasonably needed for security, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance;
- analytics, attribution, advertising, and purchase providers retain information according to their applicable settings, agreements, and legal obligations; and
- reports, privacy requests, and support communications are retained for the time needed to resolve the matter and maintain an appropriate record of our response.
Information may remain for a limited additional period in protected backups or records that we must retain by law. When retention is no longer necessary, we delete, de-identify, or securely isolate the information, as appropriate.
To request deletion, email [contact@ramnil.com](mailto:contact@ramnil.com) with the subject line "InkMuse Deletion Request." Because InkMuse uses an anonymous service record, we may ask for app or device information reasonably needed to locate the relevant records and verify the request. Do not send additional sensitive images unless we specifically ask for them. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. Uninstalling InkMuse may remove local information but does not necessarily delete information already held by our systems or providers.
## 10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; to opt out of certain targeted advertising or disclosures; and to appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.
To exercise a right, email [contact@ramnil.com](mailto:contact@ramnil.com) and describe your request. We may need to verify your request and may ask for information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant records. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification of their authority. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
These rights are subject to exceptions. For example, we may retain information when required by law, needed to complete a transaction you requested, or necessary to protect security, prevent fraud, or establish or defend legal claims.
## 11. Device Access and Permissions
InkMuse uses Android system pickers and limited file access when you choose to select or capture an image. On supported Android versions, this allows you to provide selected content without granting full access to your photo library. On older Android versions, InkMuse may request storage access when you choose to save an image.
You can manage app permissions in your device settings. Refusing or revoking access may prevent the related selection, capture, save, or try-on feature from working. Content saved to your device is controlled by you and may also be accessible to your device, backup provider, gallery, file manager, or any service with which you choose to share it.
## 12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your device and for avoiding the submission of unnecessary sensitive information.
## 13. International Processing
Ramnil Lab and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, organizational, or other safeguards for international transfers and provide additional information upon a valid request.
## 14. Children
The Service is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old and is not directed to children. Do not use the Service or provide information if you are under 18.
We prohibit content that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or depicts the abuse of a minor. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us or that prohibited content involving a minor appears in the Service, contact [contact@ramnil.com](mailto:contact@ramnil.com).
## 15. Third-Party Services
Google Play, your device manufacturer, Android, image or file providers, sharing destinations, and other third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their independent privacy practices. Review their policies before directing InkMuse content to them.
## 16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Service, our practices, or applicable law. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last Updated" date and provide additional notice where required. If applicable law requires consent to a material change, we will request it.
