GitPulse AI: Repo Analyzer ("the App") is a mobile application developed by AntoTech ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.
The App is designed to help users audit GitHub repositories, visualize technical metrics, estimate development costs, and receive AI-powered architectural insights using Google Gemini.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• GitHub Personal Access Token: To avoid GitHub API rate limits, you may optionally provide a personal access token. This token is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

• Repository Watchlist: The list of repositories you save as favorites is stored locally on your device.

• Preferences & Settings: Language selection (English/Spanish), theme preference (Dark/Light), and user settings are stored locally.

Automatically Collected Information

• Device & Usage Data: Non-personal data such as device type, operating system, and app version may be collected by third-party services to ensure app stability.

• Ad Data: The App displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), IP address, approximate location, and usage data to serve ads. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for more details.

AI Features

When you perform a "Technical Audit," "Strategic Intelligence" analysis, or use the "AI Consultant" chat, specific repository data (such as names, language distribution, and commit frequency) is transmitted to Google Gemini API for processing. We do not store this data or your chat history on our servers; it is handled in real-time to provide insights.

How We Use Your Information

• App Functionality: To enable repository searching, metrics visualization, and comparison features.

• AI Features: To generate architectural audits, cost estimations, and roadmap predictions.

• Advertising: To display non-intrusive ads via AdMob.

• Improvements: Anonymous performance data may be used to fix bugs and enhance features.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or GitHub tokens with third parties for marketing purposes.

Sharing of Information

• Google AdMob: For ad delivery. Governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

• AI Providers: Repository metadata you analyze is processed by Google Gemini API but is not stored by us.

• No Other Sharing: We do not share your data with any other third parties, except when required by law.

Data Security

• All your sensitive data (GitHub Token, Watchlist, Preferences) is stored locally on your device's secure storage.

• Communication with the GitHub API and Gemini API is performed over encrypted HTTPS connections.

• You are responsible for keeping your device secure.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access & Control: You can delete your GitHub Token or clear your Watchlist at any time within the App settings or by clearing the App's local storage.

• Ads: You may disable personalized ads via your device’s advertising settings (e.g., "Limit Ad Tracking").

• Permissions: You can manage App permissions (like Internet access) through your device settings.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected within the App. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
