### A. Account Information
When you register or use FateLock, we may collect:
- **Username & Display Name:** To identify you within the community.
- **Profile Avatar:** Selected preset avatar or user-uploaded profile picture.
- **Account Identifiers:** Unique user ID and karma/reputation score.
### B. User-Generated Content
- **Dilemmas & Decisions:** Dilemma titles, category, options, and descriptions.
- **Votes:** Your community voting activity on active dilemmas.
- **Proof of Commitment:** Text explanations, notes, and photos uploaded to prove that you fulfilled your commitment.
### C. Device Permissions
FateLock requests the following Android permissions strictly when necessary:
- **Camera (`android.permission.CAMERA`):**
- **Purpose:** Allows you to take real-time photos of receipts, activities, or completed tasks directly within the app as proof of commitment or for your profile avatar.
- **Scope:** The camera is accessed *only* when you explicitly tap the "Take with Camera" button. No background video or audio is ever recorded.
- **Photos / Media Storage (`android.permission.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES` / `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`):**
- **Purpose:** Allows you to browse and select existing photos or documents from your device gallery to upload as proof or profile image.
- **Scope:** The app only accesses files that you specifically select through the system file picker.
- **Internet (`android.permission.INTERNET`):**
- **Purpose:** Required to communicate with FateLock backend servers and WebSocket services to synchronize dilemmas, votes, timers, and proofs.

## 2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
1. To operate and provide the core functions of the FateLock platform.
2. To allow community members to vote on dilemmas and review submitted proofs.
3. To calculate and maintain the karma score, trust tier, and social commitment accountability mechanics.
4. To communicate important commitment countdowns and state updates.

## 3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
- **Public Community Display:** Dilemma titles, chosen options, winning results, and submitted proofs are publicly visible to FateLock community members to facilitate social accountability and community jury reviews.
- **No Commercial Sale:** We do **not** sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.
- **Service Infrastructure:** Your data is processed securely through our dedicated server infrastructure and database services.
