Last Updated: 21 August 2026

Englune is an English-learning application developed and published by cicilan dev.

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be accessed, collected, used, processed, or shared when you use the Englune mobile application.

By using Englune, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

Englune does not require you to create an online account or sign in with Google, email, or another third-party account.

During onboarding, you may provide information such as:

This information is primarily used to personalize your learning experience.

Your learning profile and progress are stored locally on your device unless a specific online feature described in this Privacy Policy requires data to be transmitted.

2. LEARNING AND GAME PROGRESS

Englune stores learning and game-related information locally on your device, including:

This information is used to provide Englune's learning, personalization, progression, review, and game features.

Englune does not operate a remote user-account database for storing your general learning progress.

3. ADVERTISING

Englune uses Google AdMob to display advertising, including:

Rewarded ads are optional and may provide in-app benefits such as Hearts or Coins after the user voluntarily chooses to watch an advertisement.

Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or process information such as:

This information may be used by Google for purposes including advertising, analytics, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

Data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is transmitted using encryption in transit.

Englune may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain advertising and privacy consent where required.

Advertising behavior may vary based on your location, consent choices, device settings, and applicable laws.

4. ADVERTISING ID

Englune may use the Android Advertising ID through Google Mobile Ads for advertising and measurement purposes.

You may reset, delete, or limit the use of your Advertising ID through your Android device settings where supported.

Englune does not sell your Advertising ID.

5. AI CONVERSATION BETA

Englune provides an AI Conversation BETA feature through Navo, the application's AI learning companion.

Englune uses a hybrid AI architecture.

Local Practice

Some conversation functionality can operate using Englune's local practice engine.

When Local Practice is used, conversation processing is performed locally by Englune and does not require a Gemini AI request.

Cloud AI

When cloud AI is available and enabled, Englune may use Firebase AI Logic and Google's Gemini services to generate conversational responses and learning feedback.

Information sent for cloud AI processing may include:

Englune is designed not to intentionally include your locally entered display name in Gemini prompts.

You should not submit sensitive personal information through AI Conversation, including:

Cloud AI availability may be limited by network availability, service quotas, or technical conditions.

If cloud AI is unavailable, Englune may automatically fall back to Local Practice.

Firebase AI Logic may automatically transmit technical information such as the Firebase App ID, application version, SDK version, runtime information, and AI model information when making requests.

6. AI RESPONSE REPORTING

Englune allows users to report inappropriate, unsafe, inaccurate, or otherwise problematic AI-generated responses.

If you choose to submit an AI response report, information necessary to investigate the reported response may be transmitted to the application's reporting service.

A report may include:

Reports are used for safety, moderation, troubleshooting, and improving the user experience.

Do not include unnecessary personal or sensitive information when submitting a report.

7. MICROPHONE AND SPEECH RECOGNITION

Englune may request access to your device microphone for features such as:

Microphone access is requested only when necessary for a feature that requires voice input.

Englune does not continuously record your microphone in the background.

Audio or speech recognition processing may depend on Android's speech recognition services or services provided by your device manufacturer or operating system provider.

Depending on the speech recognition service available on your device, audio may be processed locally or transmitted to that service for recognition.

Englune primarily uses the recognized text for learning and conversation functionality.

You can deny microphone permission. Features that require voice input may then be unavailable, while other learning features can continue to function.

8. NOTIFICATIONS

Englune may request permission to send notifications.

Notifications may be used for:

Users can control reminder preferences inside Englune and can also disable notification permission through Android settings.

Englune may automatically skip an evening review reminder if the required review has already been completed that day.

9. LOCAL STORAGE

Most Englune learning data is designed to be stored locally on your device.

Local data may remain on your device until you:

Englune does not intentionally use Android cloud backup for its local learning database.

10. INTERNET CONNECTION

Some Englune features require an internet connection, including:

Core learning features are designed to remain available without an internet connection where technically possible.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Englune may use third-party services including:

Google AdMob

Used for advertising, ad measurement, analytics related to advertising, and fraud prevention.

Google Gemini

Used to provide cloud-based AI Conversation and language-learning assistance when cloud AI is enabled.

Google Play Integrity / Firebase App Check

May be used to verify application authenticity and protect backend services against abuse.

These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

12. DATA SECURITY

Englune takes reasonable technical measures intended to protect information used by the application.

Where data is transmitted to supported online services, encrypted network connections such as HTTPS/TLS are used where applicable.

However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. DATA SHARING

cicilan dev does not sell users' personal information.

Information may be processed or shared with service providers only when necessary to operate Englune features, including advertising, AI processing, fraud prevention, security, consent management, and technical infrastructure.

Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or valid legal process.

14. DATA RETENTION

Locally stored learning information generally remains on the user's device until the application data is cleared, progress is reset, or Englune is uninstalled.

Information transmitted to third-party services may be retained according to the respective service provider's policies and applicable legal requirements.

AI reports may be retained for the period reasonably necessary to investigate safety, quality, or technical issues and may later be deleted or retained in aggregated or non-identifying form where appropriate.

15. DATA DELETION

Englune does not require or provide a remote user account.

You can remove locally stored Englune data by:
