At Edge Gestures, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection and usage for the Edge Gestures mobile application.

## 1. Information Collection and Use

Edge Gestures is designed to run entirely locally on your device.

* **No Personal Data Collection:** We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, device identifiers, location info, or usage statistics.

* **No Network Transmissions:** The application does not require internet access permissions and does not transmit any information to external servers.

## 2. Android Accessibility Service API Usage

To provide gesture navigation shortcuts, Edge Gestures requires the activation of the Android Accessibility Service.

* **Sole Purpose:** We use this API strictly to perform system actions on your behalf when you trigger a gesture. These actions include performing the BACK action, going to the HOME screen, opening RECENTS apps, displaying the system POWER_DIALOG, opening NOTIFICATIONS or QUICK_SETTINGS, and locking the screen.

* **No Data Gathering:** The Accessibility Service API is never used to monitor your screen, record your keystrokes, track your inputs, or collect any private data. All gesture recognition and command triggering are processed locally and transiently in real-time.

## 3. System Permissions Required

* **System Alert Window (Overlay Permission):** Used solely to draw the invisible touch-receptive edge zones on the screen.

* **Write Settings Permission:** Used solely to allow you to adjust the system screen brightness by scrolling on the left edge.

* **Foreground Service Permission:** Used solely to display a persistent background status notification, ensuring the Android OS does not terminate the app's gesture listeners.

## 4. Third-Party Services

We do not integrate any third-party SDKs, tracking tools, analytics libraries, or advertising networks inside the application.

## 5. Security

We value your trust in providing us access to system shortcuts. Since all operations run locally on your device and no data is collected, your inputs and settings remain private and secure on your hardware.
