CV Maker AI ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application.
CV Content: When you create a CV, you provide personal information such as your name, contact details, work experience, education, skills, and other professional information. This data is stored locally on your device.
Voice Recordings: If you use the voice input feature, audio recordings are temporarily processed to generate or update your CV content.
Device Information: We may collect basic device information (device type, operating system version) for app functionality and crash reporting purposes.
Usage Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app (e.g., which features are used most frequently). This data is anonymized and does not include personal identifiers.

All CV data you create is stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: Because your CV data is stored only on your device and NOT on our backend servers:
If you uninstall the app, all your CVs will be permanently deleted
If you clear the app's data/cache, all your CVs will be permanently lost
If you lose or reset your device, your CVs cannot be recovered
We have no way to retrieve or restore your CVs once they are deleted from your device
We strongly recommend regularly exporting your CVs as PDF files and backing them up to cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
When you use AI features (CV generation, updates, tailoring, voice transcription), your data is sent to:
Firebase Cloud Functions (Google Cloud Platform) for processing
OpenAI API (ChatGPT) for AI-powered content generation and improvement
This data is transmitted securely via HTTPS and is processed temporarily to provide the service.
OpenAI's Data Usage: According to OpenAI's API terms, data sent via the API is not used to train their models. However, it may be retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring purposes. See OpenAI's API Data Usage Policy for details.
When you purchase CV unlock credits, payment information is processed by:

CV Maker AI is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
