Privacy Policy for CocoLink

This Privacy Policy explains how  (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile game CocoLink, package name com.iland.cocolink (the “App”).

1. Privacy Summary

CocoLink is designed to work without creating an account. Under the current version described by this policy, we do not directly collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos, videos, audio, or payment-card details through the App.

Game progress, settings, and unlocked-level status are stored locally on the user’s device. The App uses Google Play’s billing system for optional in-app purchases that unlock game levels.

2. Information Stored on the Device

The App may store the following information locally on the user’s device:

• game progress and completed levels;

• unlocked levels and purchase-entitlement status;

• audio, language, and gameplay settings; and

• other preferences required for the App to function.

We do not transmit this locally stored information to our own servers under the current version of the App.

3. In-App Purchases

Optional purchases in CocoLink are processed through the Google Play billing system. Google Play may collect and process payment and transaction information under Google’s own terms and privacy policy.

The App may receive limited purchase-related information from Google Play, such as the product identifier, purchase status, purchase token, and entitlement or acknowledgement status. This information is used only to verify the purchase, unlock the purchased level or level pack, restore eligible purchases, prevent duplicate delivery, and support transaction security.

We do not receive or store the user’s full payment-card number, bank-account credentials, or Google Account password. Under the current client-only implementation, purchase-related information is not transmitted to a server operated by us.

4. How Information Is Used

Information handled by the App is used only to:

• provide and maintain gameplay features;

• save progress and settings locally;

• verify, deliver, and restore purchased content;

• protect the purchase flow from errors, duplication, or abuse; and

• respond when a user voluntarily contacts us for support.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information for advertising.

Google Play acts as the payment-platform provider for in-app purchases. Its handling of information is governed by Google’s own policies: Google Privacy Policy.

6. Advertising and Analytics

The current version covered by this policy does not include advertising SDKs, behavioral advertising, third-party analytics, or developer-operated cloud analytics. If these features are added later, this Privacy Policy and the App’s Google Play Data safety disclosure will be updated before or when the change becomes effective.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored game data remains on the device until the user clears the App’s storage or uninstalls the App. Because CocoLink does not create a developer account, there is no CocoLink account to delete.

Purchase and payment records maintained by Google are retained according to Google’s policies and applicable legal obligations. Clearing App data or uninstalling CocoLink does not necessarily delete transaction records maintained by Google Play.

If a user contacts us by email, we may retain the message and contact details only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations. A user may request deletion of support correspondence by using the contact information below, subject to lawful retention requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the limited information handled by the App. Purchases are conducted through the Google Play billing system rather than through a payment form operated by us. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Children’s Privacy

CocoLink does not knowingly request or collect personal information from children through an account, chat, profile, or user-generated-content feature. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to us through a support request, they may contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

10. International Users

Google may process purchase-related information in countries other than the user’s country, as described in Google’s privacy policy. We do not operate a separate server that collects CocoLink gameplay data under the current version covered by this policy.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s features, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated version will be posted at this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
