CityGo is a transition and heritage guide for Dhaka. To provide our core services, we may request access to your device's location services (GPS, Wi-Fi, etc.). This allows us to:
Show you nearby places and essential services (hospitals, mosques, etc.).
Provide accurate route planning and navigation from your current position.
Offer location-based recommendations for historical sites.
1.2 Phone Permissions
The App requests permission to make phone calls (CALL_PHONE) solely to allow you to contact emergency services (Police, Fire Service) directly from within the app with a single tap.
2. How We Use Your Information
Enhancing Experience: We use location data exclusively to provide the services requested by you within the app.
Safety: Phone permissions are used only for the emergency dialing feature.
No Sharing: Location data and personal information are processed on your device and are not shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
3. Data Control
Location Access: You can enable or disable location permissions at any time through your device's system settings.
Notification Permissions: On Android 13+, the app will request permission to send you notifications for holiday reminders. You can opt-out via system settings.
4. Third-Party Services
CityGo may use third-party services like:
Google Maps SDK: To display maps and provide directions.
Firebase/Firestore: To sync and store public service information (e.g., transport routes, emergency databases).

All content, software code, and design within the App are owned by CityGo or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
