Agent Switch — User Agent Switcher ("the Extension") is committed to protecting user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Extension handles information when installed on your browser.
No Personal Data Collection: The Extension does NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (PII), such as names, email addresses, IP addresses, or location data.
No Web Browsing Tracking: The Extension does NOT track, record, or monitor your browsing history, visited websites, or online behavior.
Local Data Storage: Any user preferences, custom User-Agent strings, or domain-specific settings defined by you are stored exclusively on your local device via Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This data never leaves your browser.
The Extension requests only the minimum permissions required for core functionality:
declarativeNetRequest: Used strictly to modify the User-Agent HTTP header for outgoing requests based on user preferences.
storage: Used to save user settings and custom profiles locally on the browser.
tabs: Used to obtain the active tab's URL to apply domain-specific rules and reload the page when a User-Agent is switched.
The Extension does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. No data is shared with any external third parties.
This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
