Fan Simulator is built with a strict offline-first, zero-tracking architecture. We do NOT collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal user data.
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Fan Simulator ("the Application", "we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding it through complete transparency. By installing and using this application, you agree to the practices outlined in this policy.
The Application does NOT collect, process, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). Specifically:
No Account Required: You do not need to register, sign in, or provide an email, username, or phone number.
No Location Tracking: We do not request, access, or track GPS or network-based location data.
No Camera or Microphone Access: The app does not access your camera, photo library, or microphone. All audio is generated as local output simulation.
No Contacts or Device Identifiers: We do not read contacts, call logs, SMS, or hardware serial numbers.
Fan Simulator requests only the minimum necessary standard Android permissions strictly required for its offline simulation features:
android.permission.VIBRATE:
Purpose: Provides haptic feedback (tactile vibrations) when pressing virtual buttons, dials, and speed toggles for an immersive tactile feel.
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK:
Purpose: Keeps the simulated soothing fan sound playing continuously during sleep timer sessions when the device screen turns off, preventing playback interruptions.
All user settings (such as selected fan blade type, oscillation toggle, color presets, volume level, and sleep timer choices) are saved strictly on your local physical device using Android's standard SharedPreferences.
No Cloud Sync: None of your settings or preferences are ever sent to remote servers or third-party databases.
Zero Tracking SDKs: Fan Simulator does not include third-party advertising SDKs, behavioural trackers, or analytic profiling tools.
Google Play Services: Standard Google Play Core services may collect anonymous, aggregated crash reports and installation statistics according to Google's standard Privacy Policy.
Our application does not collect any personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Therefore, Fan Simulator is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The app is completely safe for users of all ages and families.
Because the application runs locally and does not transmit data over the internet, your device information remains secure against external data breaches.
