This Privacy Policy explains how Elder Care Planner ("the App")
handles user information and data.
1. DATA COLLECTION
The App does not collect, transmit, store, or share personal data
with the developer or external servers.
All information entered into the App — including client profiles,
health records, medications, care sessions, schedules, notes, and
tasks — is stored locally on your device only.
The App works fully offline and does not require account registration
or login.
2. LOCAL DATA STORAGE
All app data is stored locally on your device using a SQLite database.
The App does not use cloud storage, remote servers, or online
databases.
No user data is automatically transmitted over the internet.
3. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
All data entered into the App remains on your device until you
choose to delete it.
You may delete your data at any time by:
• Deleting records individually inside the App
• Using reset or delete features provided by the App
• Uninstalling the App from your device
When the App is uninstalled, Android may automatically remove
locally stored app data from the device.
Backup files created manually by the user remain stored only in
the location selected by the user until manually deleted.
4. PHOTOS
Photos added to client profiles or care records are stored locally
on your device only.
These photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared by the App.
5. BACKUP FILES
The App allows you to create backup ZIP files containing your data
and photos.
Backup files are created locally on your device. You decide where
to save, copy, or share these files.
The App does not automatically upload backup files to any server
or cloud service.
6. ADVERTISING
The App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
Google and its partners may collect limited device information,
such as advertising identifiers, diagnostic data, approximate
location, and ad interaction data to provide personalized or
non-personalized advertisements.

7. PERMISSIONS
The App may request the following permissions:
• Camera
Used to take profile photos and attach images to records.
• Photos / Storage
Used to save images, create backup files, and restore backups.
Permissions are used only for the features described above.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is intended for adult professional caregivers and is not
directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. SECURITY
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible
for protecting access to your device and backup files.
We recommend using device security features such as screen locks
and encrypted storage when available.
10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
Any updates will be posted within the App or on the App's Google
Play listing.
