Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the apps and games published by Developerkind ("we", "us", "our") handle information when you use them. It applies to all of our apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play, listed below.
Our apps are designed to minimize data collection. They do not require an account and do not intentionally collect personal information. Some of our apps are free and show ads; others are paid or offer optional purchases. The list below shows which applies to each app.
Sections about advertising apply only to apps marked "shows ads". Sections about purchases apply only to apps that offer in-app purchases. Sections about analytics apply only to apps marked "uses analytics".
1. Information Stored on Your Device
Our apps may store certain information locally on your device, such as:
• Game progress, such as completed levels and items in progress
• User preferences and settings, such as sound, vibration and appearance
• Purchase or premium unlock status
• Simple counters used by the app, for example to space out ads
This information is stored locally on your device and is used to provide and maintain the app's functionality. It is not sent to us, except as described for analytics (Section 6) and cloud save (Section 5).
Our apps do not intentionally collect personal information such as:
• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Contacts
• Messages
• Photos or videos
• Audio recordings
• Precise location data
No account creation or registration is required to use our apps. Signing in is only needed for optional cloud save (Section 5).
2. Permissions
Our apps do not require special device permissions such as:
• Access to contacts
• Microphone access
• Camera access
Our apps use only the permissions necessary for their normal operation. Apps that show ads or offer purchases use internet access for that purpose. On Android, apps that show ads also use the advertising ID permission, which allows ads to be delivered and measured. On iOS, apps that show ads ask for your permission before using your device's advertising identifier for tracking.
3. Advertising (apps that show ads)
Some of our apps show ads, including optional video ads that you can choose to watch in exchange for in-game rewards such as hints. Ads are delivered through third-party advertising partners, such as the Yodo1 MAS ad mediation service and the advertising networks it works with (for example Google AdMob, AppLovin and Unity Ads).
To show and measure ads, these advertising partners may automatically collect information such as:
• Your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA)
• Device and app information, such as device model, operating system, language and app version
• Your IP address and the approximate location (country or region) derived from it
• How you interact with ads, such as views, taps and completed videos
• Diagnostic information, such as ad loading errors
This information is used to deliver ads, limit how often the same ad is shown, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, show ads based on your interests.
When you first use an app that shows ads, it may show a privacy dialog that asks for your age and, where required by law (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom and some US states), your consent to personalized ads. If you decline, or indicate that you are under the age of consent, ads may still be shown but will not be personalized.
Where an app offers a purchase to remove ads, buying it stops ads from being shown between levels or screens.
Each advertising partner handles information according to its own privacy policy, including:
• Google: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
• Unity: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Yodo1: https://www.yodo1.com
4. In-App Purchases (apps that offer purchases)
Some of our apps offer optional in-app purchases, such as premium content, a full version or removing ads.
All in-app purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system on iOS, or Google Play's billing system on Android.
We do not receive or store your full payment card information or other complete payment credentials.
Apple or Google may process information related to your purchase, including transaction status and purchase information, according to their applicable terms and privacy policies.
Our apps may receive limited purchase-related information necessary to determine whether content has been purchased or restored, such as:
• Purchase status
• Product identifiers
• Purchase or entitlement information
5. Optional Cloud Save (apps that offer it)
Some of our apps offer optional cloud save to players who have made a purchase, so that purchased items (such as tokens) and game progress can be restored on a new device. Cloud save is off unless you choose to sign in.
If you sign in, the app uses Unity Gaming Services (Unity Authentication and Unity Cloud Save), provided by Unity Technologies. You sign in through Unity Player Accounts, which may let you use your Google or Apple account or an email address. When cloud save is on:
• Unity creates an account identifier for you and stores a copy of your game data with it: progress (such as completed levels), token balance and purchase status
• The sign-in service may receive the details needed to sign you in, such as an account identifier and, depending on the sign-in method you choose, your email address
• We use this information only to back up and restore your game data; we do not use it to contact you or for advertising
Cloud save data is kept until you ask us to delete it. To have it deleted, contact us (Section 14). Unity handles this information under the Unity Privacy Policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
6. Analytics (apps that use analytics)
Some of our apps use Google Analytics for Firebase, a service provided by Google, to understand how the apps are used so we can improve them, for example which levels players find too hard and which features they use.
Google Analytics for Firebase may automatically collect information such as:
• An app instance identifier created for the app on your device
• Device and app information, such as device model, operating system, language, app version and approximate location (country or region)
• How you use the app, such as sessions, screens viewed, levels started and completed, hints used, settings changed, and purchase and ad events (without any payment details)
• Your device's advertising identifier, only where you allow it to be used
We use this information in aggregate to improve our apps. We do not use it to identify you personally or to contact you.
Where an app shows a privacy dialog (Section 3), your choices there also apply to analytics: if you do not consent to personalized ads, analytics information is not used for advertising, and if you indicate that you are under the age of consent, analytics information is not stored.
Google handles this information under its own policies:
• Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Firebase privacy information: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
7. How Information Is Used
Information handled by our apps is used only for purposes related to providing the apps, including:
• Saving progress, preferences and settings
• Providing app and game functionality
• Showing ads and giving rewards to players who choose to watch them (apps that show ads)
• Unlocking premium content or removing ads after a successful purchase
• Restoring previously purchased content
• Backing up and restoring game data for players who turn on cloud save
• Understanding, in aggregate, how the apps are used, so we can improve them (apps that use analytics)
We do not use collected information for unrelated purposes.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information for money and do not rent personal information to third parties.
Limited information is processed by third-party services when necessary to provide app functionality, such as:
• Advertising partners, which receive device information to show and measure ads, as described in Section 3 (apps that show ads only)
• Apple's In-App Purchase system or Google Play's billing system, for processing and verifying purchases
• Unity Gaming Services, which stores game data for players who turn on cloud save (Section 5)
• Google Analytics for Firebase, which receives app usage information as described in Section 6 (apps that use analytics only)
• The app's game engine provider (for example Unity), which may collect technical information such as device type, operating system and app performance data under its own privacy policy
Under some laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, personalized advertising may be considered "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out of personalized ads as described in Section 12.
Information may also be disclosed when required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes or valid governmental requests.
9. Data Storage and Retention
Progress, settings and preferences are stored locally on your device.
Locally stored information generally remains on your device until:
• You reset it using an option in the app, where available
• You clear the app's data
• You uninstall the app
Purchase entitlements may be restored through Apple or Google when supported.
Cloud save data is kept until you ask us to delete it (Section 5).
Analytics information is kept by Google for a limited period set in our Firebase settings, after which it is deleted automatically.
Advertising partners, Apple and Google may retain information they collect according to their own policies and applicable requirements.
10. Children's Privacy
Our apps are not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In apps that show ads, when a player indicates in the privacy dialog that they are under the age of consent, our advertising partners are instructed to show only non-personalized ads and to limit data collection, and analytics information is not stored.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through one of our apps, please contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.
11. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by our apps.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your Choices
You may control your information by:
• Choosing whether to allow personalized ads in the app's privacy dialog (apps that show ads)
• Clearing the app's data or reinstalling the app, which also gives you a new analytics identifier (apps that use analytics)
• Resetting or deleting your advertising ID, or opting out of ad personalization, in your device settings (on iPhone and iPad: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; on Android: Settings > Google > Ads, which may vary by device)
• Resetting progress in the app, where available
• Clearing the app's data through your device settings
• Uninstalling the app
• Managing your purchases through your Apple Account or Google Play account
• Choosing whether to make optional in-app purchases
• Choosing whether to turn on cloud save, and asking us to delete your cloud save data
Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes locally stored progress, preferences and settings.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to our apps, applicable laws or our practices.
When changes are made, the Last Updated date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy will be updated.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
