B. Mood & Activity Data

The mood entries, emojis, notes, and streaks you create within Daymoji are stored locally on your device using an internal database. We do not have access to this data. It remains completely private on your phone.

C. Financial Data

We use Google Play Billing for the optional "Support Development" (Buy me a coffee) feature. All payment transactions are handled directly by Google. We do not store or have access to your credit card details or financial information.

2. App Permissions

The app requests the following permissions to function correctly:

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used solely to send you local daily reminders to log your mood. You can disable this in the app settings at any time.

• Storage/File Access: Used only when you explicitly choose to export or import a backup file. This allows the app to save your data to a file on your device or read a file you selected.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: All your data is stored locally on your device.

• Backups: The "Backup & Restore" feature allows you to export your data to a file. You are responsible for keeping this backup file secure.

• Data Loss: Because we do not store your data on cloud servers, if you uninstall the app or clear your device data without creating a backup, your mood history will be permanently lost and cannot be recovered by us.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you (e.g., for crash reporting or payment processing).

5. Children’s Privacy

Our app does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
