1. Overview

The App helps you scan your device's internal storage and SD card for deleted photos, videos, and files, and restore items you choose. The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.

2. Information We Access

To provide its core function, the App requests the following permissions on your device:

• Storage / Media access (e.g., READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, or equivalent storage permissions) used solely to scan for and display recoverable files, and to restore the files you select.

Your photos, videos, and files are processed on your device. The App does not upload, view, or transmit the content of your personal files to our servers. Scanning and recovery happen locally on your device.

3. Information Collected Automatically

We do not operate our own analytics or crash-reporting tools in this version of the App. However, the App uses a third-party advertising service (see Section 4), which automatically collects certain technical information to serve ads this is separate from, and does not include, the content of your personal files.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as:

• Advertising ID (a resettable, non-permanent device identifier).

• IP address and general location (e.g., country/city level).

• Device information (device type, operating system version).

• App usage and interaction data related to ads.

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and, where applicable, Google's Partner Policy. We do not control how Google or its ad partners use this data beyond serving ads within the App.

Your choices:

• You can reset or limit your Advertising ID in your Android device settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads).

• Depending on your region, you may see a consent prompt (via Google's User Messaging Platform) allowing you to manage ad personalization when you first open the App.

• You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com 

5. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to:

• The content of your recovered photos, videos, or files.

• Your name, email address, or other account information (the App does not require sign-in).

• Your contacts, unless you separately grant contact-recovery permission and choose to view them within the App in either case, contact data is processed on-device only and is not transmitted to us.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. The only third party that receives data through the App is Google, via Ad Mob, as described in Section 4. We do not share your files or personal information with any other third party.

7. Data Security

We rely on Android's built-in app sandboxing and permission model to protect data processed on your device. No method of electronic processing is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@visionappstechnologies.com so we can address it.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing (including ad personalization).

10. Data Retention

We do not retain your personal files or content, since we never collect them. Information collected by Ad Mob is retained according to Google's own retention practices.

11. International Data Transfers

If you are located outside the country where our servers or service providers (including Google) operate, your information may be processed in other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
