Daily Planner Pro is a private, local-first Chrome extension designed for daily planning, tasks, checklists, notes, long-term planning, and personal work organization.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension handles, how that information is used, where it is stored, and what choices users have.
Daily Planner Pro handles information that users intentionally create or enter inside the extension, including:
Daily planner notes
Tasks and checklist items
Formatted text and headings
North Star pages
Custom sections and pages
Templates inserted into planner pages
Theme and display preferences
Navigation and interface preferences
Backup files selected by the user for import
The extension may also store technical metadata required for normal operation, such as page identifiers, selected dates, save timestamps, and interface state.
Daily Planner Pro does not automatically collect information from websites, browser history, emails, messages, accounts, or other applications.
User-created information is used only to provide the extension’s planning and note-taking functionality.
This includes:
Displaying saved planner pages
Restoring notes and tasks when the extension is reopened
Searching locally saved content
Maintaining user-created sections and pages
Remembering theme and interface preferences
Creating user-requested exports and backups
Restoring a backup selected by the user
The information is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, marketing, creditworthiness, or any unrelated purpose.
Daily Planner Pro stores planner content locally in the user’s Chrome browser profile through chrome.storage.local.
The publisher does not receive, view, or remotely store this content.
The extension does not require:
An account
Registration
A login
A cloud database
A publisher-operated server
Locally stored information remains available until the user deletes it, clears the relevant Chrome profile or extension data, or uninstalls the extension.
Daily Planner Pro does not transmit planner notes, tasks, custom pages, preferences, or backups to the publisher or third parties.
The extension does not use:
Analytics services
Advertising networks
Tracking pixels
Remote databases
External APIs
Remote scripts
CDN-hosted application code
Telemetry systems
The extension’s operational code is included inside the installed Chrome extension package.
Daily Planner Pro does not sell, rent, share, or transfer user-created planner information to third parties.
The extension does not use planner information for personalized advertising, retargeting, market research, or user profiling.
The publisher, employees, contractors, and other persons do not have remote access to content stored inside the extension.
Daily Planner Pro requests only the permissions required for its current functionality.
The storage permission is used to save and restore planner pages, tasks, notes, North Star content, custom sections, preferences, and related interface state locally in Chrome.
The sidePanel permission is used to display the planner workspace in Chrome’s side panel while the user continues browsing in the current tab.
Daily Planner Pro does not request host permissions and does not read or modify the contents of websites visited by the user.
Users can intentionally export information from the extension.
Daily Planner Pro supports:
Exporting a selected day as a text file
Exporting a selected month as a text file
Exporting a selected year as a text file
Downloading a complete planner backup as a JSON file
Importing a user-selected JSON backup
Exported files are saved to the user’s device through the browser’s normal download process.
Daily Planner Pro does not upload exported or imported files to a server.
Users are responsible for protecting exported backup files stored on their devices or shared through services they choose independently.
Users control the information stored in Daily Planner Pro.
Users may:
Edit saved planner content
Delete the content of individual pages
Delete custom pages or sections
Export their information
Restore a backup
Clear extension storage through Chrome
Uninstall the extension
Uninstalling the extension or clearing its local extension data may permanently remove stored planner content.
Users should create a backup before uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data if they want to retain their information.
Daily Planner Pro is designed to minimize privacy risk by keeping planner content within the user’s Chrome profile and avoiding external data transmission.
The extension does not use a publisher-operated remote storage system.
Users should protect access to their devices and Chrome profiles and store exported backup files in a safe location.
No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free. Daily Planner Pro limits exposure by not sending planner content to external servers.
Daily Planner Pro does not knowingly request or collect personal information from children.
The extension is a general productivity tool and does not contain features designed to obtain children’s personal information.
Use of information received from Chrome APIs will comply with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Daily Planner Pro uses locally handled information only to provide and maintain its disclosed planning and note-taking functionality.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the extension’s functionality or privacy practices change.
Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
The privacy disclosures in the Chrome Web Store listing will also be kept consistent with the extension’s actual behavior.
