This Privacy Policy describes how Bus Driver Coordinator ("the App", "we", "our")
handles information when you use our mobile application.

1. OVERVIEW

Bus Driver Coordinator is an offline application. All data you enter — including
driver profiles, routes, students, schedules, attendance records, and announcements
— is stored exclusively on your device using a local database. No data is
transmitted to our servers, because we do not operate any servers.

2. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect, store, or process on our end:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- Device identifiers or location data
- Usage analytics or crash logs
- Photos or files you add to the app

3. DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
─────────────────────────────────────────
The App stores the following data locally on your device:
a) App database (SQLite file):
Driver names, phone numbers, license numbers, license expiry dates, and
status. Route details, student records (school, grade, parent contact info),
schedules, attendance records, and announcements.
b) Photos:
Profile photos you take or import for drivers and students. These are saved
in a dedicated folder on your device's internal storage.
c) App preferences:
Your selected language and display theme (light/dark mode), stored using
Android's SharedPreferences. No personal data is stored in preferences.

4. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

How long data is kept:
Your data remains on your device for as long as the App is installed, or until
you manually delete it. We do not have access to your data and cannot delete it
on your behalf.
How to delete your data:
You have full control over your data. You can delete it in the following ways:
Option 1 — Delete individual records:
Open the App, navigate to Drivers, Routes, Students, Schedules, Attendance,
or Announcements, and use the Delete option on any record. Deleted records
are permanently removed from the local database immediately.
Option 2 — Clear all app data:
On your Android device, go to:
Settings > Apps > Bus Driver Coordinator > Storage > Clear Data
This permanently deletes the entire local database and all app preferences.
Option 3 — Uninstall the App:
Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data associated with it,
including the database and preferences.
Option 4 — Delete photos manually:
Photos saved by the App are stored in the app's private storage folder. They
are deleted automatically when you delete the corresponding driver or student
record, or when you clear app data / uninstall the App.
Note: If you have exported a backup ZIP file, that file remains in your chosen
save location (e.g., Downloads folder) and must be deleted manually.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES — GOOGLE ADMOB

The App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may
collect device identifiers and usage data to show relevant ads. This collection
is governed by Google's Privacy Policy:

To opt out of personalized advertising on your Android device:
Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
We do not have access to any data collected by AdMob.

6. PERMISSIONS

The App may request the following Android permissions:
- INTERNET: Required for AdMob to display ads.
- CAMERA: Optional. Used only when you choose to take a photo for a driver
or student profile. Not used for any other purpose.
- READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older Android): Optional.
Used only when you choose to select a photo from your gallery.
No other permissions are requested or used.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is designed for use by school bus managers and administrators. It is not
directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. Student records entered into the App are stored only
on the device and are never transmitted outside it.

8. DATA SECURITY

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data
depends on your device's security settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.).
We recommend keeping your device locked with a PIN, pattern, or biometric lock.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be reflected
with a new "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this
policy periodically.
