This Privacy Policy explains how NextGenIT (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile application BrainTrain — Your Daily Mind Workout (the “App”). It applies to everyone who uses the App, anywhere in the world. Please read it alongside the Google Privacy Policy, which covers our advertising partner.
We built BrainTrain to respect you. In plain terms:
• You do not create an account, and you do not give us your name, email, or any personal details.
• Your game progress — levels, scores, streaks, settings — is saved only on your own device. It never reaches us, and we have no servers that could store it.
• The App shows ads through Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob automatically collects a small, standard set of technical data (explained below).
• All data that leaves your device is encrypted while it travels.
• You can reset your advertising ID, turn off personalised ads, and delete all App data at any time. We explain how below.
The rest of this policy sets out the detail.
Because the App has no sign-up and no login, we do not collect any of the following:
• Your name, email address, phone number, or any account or profile information.
• Passwords or login details (there are none).
• Payment or financial information (the App is free and takes no payments).
• Your contacts, calendar, photos, videos, audio, or files.
• Precise (GPS) location.
• Health, fitness, or messaging data.
As you play, the App saves your progress on your device only. This includes your levels, scores, daily streaks, achievements, and your settings (such as sound and reminder preferences).
This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, we cannot see it, and we do not keep a copy. It is removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
The App is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To provide those ads, the Google Mobile Ads software automatically collects the following four types of data from your device:
Data type
What it is and why it is collected
Approximate location: A rough idea of where a device is, worked out from its internet (IP) address — not GPS. Used by our advertising provider to show relevant ads and prevent fraud.
App interactions: Basic in-app actions such as opening the app, taps, and viewing an ad. Used to show and measure ads.
Diagnostics: Technical performance information such as how long the app takes to start, whether it freezes, and battery use. Used to keep ads working reliably.
Device & advertising identifiers: Your device's advertising ID and “app set ID” (identifiers used for advertising). Used to show ads, including personalised ads where you have agreed.
All of this data is encrypted while in transit using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) — the same protection used by secure websites.
The data described above is used to:
• show ads in the App, including personalised ads based on your interests where you have agreed to them;
• measure how ads perform;
• keep the advertising working reliably and detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and
• understand basic technical performance of the App.
We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob is provided by Google. Through AdMob, Google may collect and use the data listed above to show and measure ads, including personalised ads. You can learn how Google uses data from apps that use its services here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we ask for your consent before showing you personalised ads. If you do not consent, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Privacy options” within the App's Settings.
We share the advertising data described above with Google, acting as our advertising provider. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Under some laws, including in California, using advertising identifiers to show personalised ads may count as “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out of this at any time (see “Your choices and rights” below).
If you are in the UK or EEA, we rely on the following legal bases under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR:
• Consent — for personalised advertising and the use of your advertising ID for that purpose. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests — for showing non-personalised ads, keeping the service secure, preventing fraud, and understanding basic app performance.
The data saved on your device is kept until you delete it, by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App. Data collected through advertising is retained by Google in line with its own retention policies; please refer to the Google Privacy Policy for details.
All data that leaves your device is encrypted in transit using TLS. Because the App has no accounts and no passwords, there are no login credentials that could be exposed. Data stored on your device is protected by your device's own security.
• Reset or delete your advertising ID — in your device's Settings, under Privacy or Ads.
• Turn off personalised ads — in your device's Settings under Ads, or through the “Privacy options” in the App's Settings.
• Delete all App data — clear the App's storage in your device Settings, or uninstall the App. This permanently removes your on-device progress.
• Ask us to delete data or ask a question — email us at ariful.me17@gmail.com We aim to respond within 30 days.
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to access and delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To opt out of “sharing”, decline personalised ads as described above, or contact us.
BrainTrain is a general-audience app. It is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the higher minimum age that may apply in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EEA), and personalised ads are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
BrainTrain is available worldwide. Data collected through advertising may be processed by Google in countries outside the one where you live, including the United States. Where this happens, Google applies appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top, and for significant changes we will provide a notice within the App. Please review this policy periodically.
If you have any questions about this policy or wish to request deletion of data, please contact:
