This Privacy Policy explains how SKB Infotech ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Bill Calculator mobile application (the "App"). We built the App to help you quickly calculate product bills — price × units, grand totals, and discounts — without requiring an account or an internet connection.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
The App works entirely offline for its core calculator and history features. The only data the App handles is the bill information you manually enter, such as:
M.R.P. (price) values
Number of units/bags
Discount percentages
Calculated totals
This information is stored locally on your device using standard Android app storage. It is never automatically uploaded, transmitted, or shared with SKB Infotech or any third party.
When you use the Copy or Share feature, a snapshot of your bill (up to 20 most recent entries) is saved to a history log stored locally on your device. This history:
Is stored only on your device and is not sent to our servers, since we do not operate any servers that receive this data
Can be deleted at any time using the "Clear All" or individual delete option within the App
Is permanently removed if you uninstall the App or clear the App's storage from your device settings
The App's Share button uses Android's built-in share function, which lets you send a copy of your bill to another app of your choosing (for example, WhatsApp, Email, or SMS). When you use this feature, your bill text is passed directly to the app you select — SKB Infotech does not receive, store, or have access to what you share or who you share it with. Please review the privacy practices of any third-party app you choose to share with.
Bill Calculator does not request access to your camera, contacts, location, storage, microphone, or any other sensitive device permissions. The App only interacts with the standard Android share sheet, which is triggered solely when you tap "Share."
The current version of the App does not include advertising or analytics services, and does not collect any usage data, device identifiers, or diagnostic information.
We may introduce advertising (such as Google AdMob) or analytics (such as Firebase Analytics) in a future update to help support and improve the App. If we do, this Privacy Policy will be updated in advance to clearly explain what data those third-party services collect (which may include device identifiers, approximate location, or usage statistics) and how it is used, in line with their own privacy policies. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.
Since all data stays on your device and nothing is transmitted to us, there is no server-side storage of your information for us to secure. We still recommend using your device's standard security features (such as a screen lock) to protect any locally stored data.
Bill Calculator is a general-purpose utility tool suitable for a wide range of users, including students and young people helping with basic billing or arithmetic tasks. As noted above, the App does not collect any personal information from any user, regardless of age.
You are always in control of your data within the App:
Delete individual history entries or clear all history from within the App
Uninstall the App at any time to remove all locally stored data from your device
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add new features such as ads or analytics. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date" above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
