Thank you for using Aura, a period and cycle tracking app designed to help you understand your body. Your privacy is our highest priority. This Privacy Policy explains how Aura handles your personal health information.

1. Information We Collect

Aura collects the following health-related data that you voluntarily enter into the app:

•        Menstrual cycle dates and period duration

•        Physical symptoms (e.g., cramps, headaches, bloating)

•        Mood and energy levels

All data is stored locally on your device. Aura does not transmit your health data to any external servers or third-party services.

2. How We Use Your Data

The data you enter into Aura is used solely to provide the following features within the app:

•        Cycle predictions and ovulation estimates

•        Personalized health insights and pattern analysis

•        Symptom tracking history and trends

We do not use your health data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the core features of the app.

3. Data Retention

Aura retains your health data only for as long as you actively use the app and choose to keep it. Specifically:

•        Your cycle and health data is stored locally on your device indefinitely until you choose to delete it.

•        You can delete individual entries at any time within the app.

•        You can delete all your data at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.

•        Upon uninstalling Aura, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device and cannot be recovered.

We do not retain backups of your data on our servers, as all data is stored exclusively on your device.

4. Data Sharing

Aura does NOT sell, share, rent, or disclose your personal health data to any third parties, including:

•        Advertisers or marketing companies

•        Analytics providers

•        Data brokers

•        Any other external services

Your health data stays on your device and is never transmitted to Aura's servers or any external parties.

5. Data Security

We take the security of your health information seriously. Aura implements the following measures to protect your data:

•        All health data is stored locally on your device using industry-standard encryption.

•        We rely on your device's built-in security (screen lock, biometric authentication) to protect access to the app and its data.

We recommend enabling a screen lock on your device to further protect your personal health information.

6. Your Rights and Control

You have full control over your data at all times. You may:

•        Access all data you have entered at any time within the app

•        Delete all your data by clearing app data in your device settings

•        Permanently remove all data by uninstalling the app

Since we do not store your data on external servers, there is no need to submit a data deletion request to us — deletion is always immediate and entirely within your control.

7. Children's Privacy

Aura is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the app. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will notify you within the app and update the Effective Date at the top of this document. Your continued use of Aura after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
