Welcome to Artnie!. Artnie is a creative design app that helps you craft and customize digital artwork — such as invitations, posters, cards, and social media visuals — all while keeping your data safe.

Your privacy and creative ownership are our top priorities. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Artnie mobile app (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimal information needed for the app to function properly and support our services.

a. Information You Provide (Optional) If you choose to sign up or log in:

Name and Email Address – for Google Sign-In and user identification.
User ID – auto-generated within Firebase.
User Content – designs or artwork you create.
Backup Data (Optional) – your backed-up designs stored in Firebase, only when you manually choose to save them. 👉 You can use Artnie completely as a guest without creating an account.

b. Automatically Collected Information

Crash Logs & Diagnostics – to identify bugs and improve stability.
Device or App Information – OS version, app version, and device type (for performance).
Advertising ID (AAID) – A unique device identifier used by third-party advertising networks (Google AdMob) to serve ads.
App Interactions – anonymous analytics to understand how users interact with app features.
Local Storage – your designs and preferences are stored locally on your device.

We do not collect location (GPS), contacts, camera, microphone, or any other sensitive data.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used only to:

Provide core app functionality (saving, editing, and managing designs).
Manage optional user accounts (Google Sign-In).
Monitor crashes, performance, and improve user experience.
Display advertisements to support the free version of the app.

We do not:

Sell your personal data (name, email) to data brokers.
Share your user-created content with unrelated third parties.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage

Artnie uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate design content based solely on user-provided inputs, such as text prompts or design preferences.

Only the information you intentionally submit is processed by AI features.
Personal data (name, email, account details) is not used for AI generation.
AI inputs and outputs are not stored, reused, or used to train AI models.
AI-generated content is processed automatically and is not reviewed by humans.
We do not sell or share AI data with third parties, except as required to securely provide AI functionality.

Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before use.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

This app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. To serve these ads, Google and its partners may collect and use certain data:

Third-Party Vendors: We use Google AdMob as our advertising provider.
Data Usage: AdMob may use your device's Advertising ID (AAID), cookies, and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud.
Opt-Out: You can opt-out of personalized advertising or reset your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID).

5. Your Data Choices and Controls

At Artnie, you have full control over your personal information.

Use Without Account: Enjoy the app without signing in.
Manage Your Designs: Delete any of your designs or artwork directly in the app.
Remove Saved Data: Delete both local and cloud backups at any time.
Account Deletion: Permanently delete your entire account and all related data.

Account Deletion Process You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the Settings page. Alternatively, submit a deletion request through our dedicated form: 🔗 Account Deletion Request Form

Once confirmed, your account and all related data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. This action is irreversible.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data except as required for app functionality and advertising:

Firebase (Google): Used for authentication, backups, crash logs, and performance monitoring.
Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements and analyze ad performance. All data transfers are encrypted and securely handled.

7. Data Security

We apply strong security measures:

Encrypted transmission (HTTPS) for all communication.
Firebase security rules to prevent unauthorized access.
Google Authentication for secure login.

While we take care to protect your data, please also keep your account and device secure.

8. Children’s Privacy

Artnie is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or store data from minors. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately upon request.

9. Data Retention

Guest Users: Data stays locally on your device only.
Signed-In Users: Backup data remains in Firebase until you delete it or your account. Deleted data cannot be restored once removed.

10. Offline Use

Artnie works offline. Once required assets are loaded, you can design, edit, and save without an internet connection. (Note: Internet connection is required to view ads and sync cloud backups).

10. Updates to This Policy
