PRIVACY POLICY — Art Workshop Staff
Art Workshop Staff ("the App") is developed and maintained by an independent developer
("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when
you use it.
1. OFFLINE APP — NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER
Art Workshop Staff is designed to work fully offline. The App does not require you to create
an account or sign in to use any of its core features, and it does not connect to any backend
server operated by us. All information you enter is processed and stored directly on your
device. We never receive, transmit, or have access to the data you enter into the App.
2. DATA YOU ENTER INTO THE APP
The App stores the following information locally on your device only:
- Staff profiles: name, phone number, email, role, photo, and notes
- Class schedules: title, date, time, location, subject, and notes
- Attendance records: check-in/check-out times, status (present/absent/late), and notes
- Leave requests: leave type, dates, reason, and approval status
- Announcements posted within the workshop
- Art supplies inventory: item name, category (paint, canvas, clay, brush, etc.), stock
quantity, unit, unit cost, supplier, low-stock threshold, and notes
- Supply usage logs linking material consumption to specific classes and staff members
None of this data is collected by us, shared with third parties, or transmitted off your device
by the App itself.
3. DATA RETENTION — HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR DATA
We do not store any of your data on our own servers, so there is no retention period on our
end — we simply never have a copy. All data described in Section 2 remains on your device
only, for as long as you keep it there or until you delete it yourself using the methods below.
4. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA
You can delete your data at any time using any of the following methods:
(a) Delete individual records (staff, schedules, attendance, leave requests, announcements, or
art supplies) directly within the App's respective screens.
(b) Uninstall the App from your device, which permanently removes the local database, photos,
and all associated data stored by the App.
(c) Go to Android Settings → Apps → Art Workshop Staff → Storage → Clear Data (or Clear
Storage) to erase all app data without uninstalling the App.
Because we never hold a copy of your data on any server, deleting it on your device is
complete and final — there is no remote copy for us to remove.
5. BACKUP FILES YOU CREATE
The App includes an optional Backup feature that lets you export all your data and photos as
a ZIP file, and a Restore feature to import data from a backup ZIP file you created. These
backup files are generated and stored entirely under your own control (e.g., in your device's
file system or wherever you choose to save them). We do not receive, store, or have access to
these backup files at any time.
6. PERMISSIONS THE APP USES
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Camera and Photos/Media: to let you attach a photo to a staff profile
- Storage: to create and read backup ZIP files during Backup and Restore
- Internet and Network State: used only to process in-app purchases (Google Play Billing) for
the optional PREMIUM upgrade; no personal data entered in the App is transmitted through
this connection
These permissions are used solely to provide the App's local functionality and are never used
to collect or transmit your personal data to us.
7. IN-APP PURCHASES
The App offers an optional one-time PREMIUM upgrade (lifetime purchase) processed entirely
through Google Play Billing. Purchase transactions are handled by Google Play; we do not
receive or store your payment information. Purchase status is checked against Google Play at
app startup solely to unlock PREMIUM features on your device.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed at children under 13. Since the App does not collect or transmit
personal data to any server, no data about any user — including children — is retained by us
under any circumstances.
9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
The App uses Google Play Billing to process optional PREMIUM purchases. Aside from this, the
App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an
updated "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes
are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
