This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles information when you use our document scanning, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), AI translation, text-to-speech, and file export services.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

A. Camera Access

Purpose: Our app requires permission to access your device's camera to capture images of physical documents, receipts, ID cards, and passports.

Data Handling: All image capturing and processing happen locally on your mobile device. We do not upload your raw camera feeds or photos to any external servers.

B. Storage and Files Access

Purpose: The app requires access to read and write to your device's storage (such as the phone's public 'Documents' or 'Pictures' folder). This is necessary to save your cropped document pages, permanent .txt files, and generated .xlsx (Excel) spreadsheets.

Data Handling: Your documents remain securely on your local hardware storage. We do not have access to your personal files, and we do not maintain cloud backups of your scanned materials.

C. Text and Document Processing (OCR)

Purpose: When using the "To Txt" or "To Excel" modes, the application processes images line-by-line to detect and extract textual content.

Data Handling: This Optical Character Recognition is performed natively on-device using secure local frameworks. Your text contents belong exclusively to you.

D. Artificial Intelligence & Translation Services

Purpose: Our application includes smart text translation utilities powered by secure Gemini AI APIs (including models such as Gemini 3.5, and 3.1 Flash).

Data Handling: When you explicitly request to translate text into a different regional or global country language, only the specific text block is securely processed through the official AI framework to provide the text replacement. No personal identification or contextual user telemetry is attached to these automated translation requests.

E. Text-To-Speech (Listen Feature)

Purpose: The app utilizes your Android device's native HD Speech Synthesis engine to read extracted text out loud using natural, high-quality voices (supporting both Female and Male profiles).

Data Handling: This feature operates strictly locally or via your device's connected native system speech services. Voice audio is never logged or tracked.

2. Data Security  

Since Ai Scanner Pro functions primarily as an offline productivity tool, the vast majority of your data is contained entirely within your own physical device. We implement standard security practices to protect your configuration flags and app metadata. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. 

Data Deletion Request

Our app (Ai Scanner Pro) does not require user account creation, so we do not store personal account data on our servers. However, if you wish to request the deletion of any collected advertising or device identifiers, please contact us at 

3. Third-Party Services

Our app relies on official, secure Google services to facilitate high-performance features:

Google Play Services / ML Kit: Used for secure on-device object bounding, text recognition, and document scanning.

Google Gemini APIs: Utilized strictly to fetch localized translations and automated string conversions when triggered by the user. 

4. Children’s Privacy 

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we immediately delete this from our local caches. 

6. Payments and In-App Purchases"  

Ai Scanner Pro offers premium features through In-App Purchases. We use Google Play Billing to process all payments securely. We do not collect, store, or have any access to your sensitive financial information, such as credit card numbers or bank account details. All payment transactions and data are handled completely and securely by Google Play.
