Keystrokes and Macro Data: All macros, key assignments, and scripts created within the app are stored locally on your device. AirPedal does NOT collect, monitor, store, or transmit your keystrokes, passwords, or input data to any external server. Data transmission occurs strictly between your phone and your paired computer via local Bluetooth protocol.
Personal Information: We do not require or collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the core features of the application.

3. Permissions To function correctly as a Bluetooth HID device, AirPedal requires the following permissions:
BLUETOOTH_CONNECT & BLUETOOTH_SCAN: Required to discover, pair, and maintain a connection with your target computer.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CONNECTED_DEVICE: This is the core permission required to keep the Bluetooth socket open and active. It ensures that the app continues to send macro commands even when the app is in the background or the screen is off, preventing disconnection during gameplay or work.
REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS: Required to prevent the Android system from killing the background process, ensuring low-latency performance and connection stability.
5. Accessibility Service Usage Disclosure
AirPedal uses the Android Accessibility Service API to provide automation assistance and enhance user control efficiency.
1. Why do we use Accessibility Services?
Gesture Simulation: To perform automated touch sequences (clicks, swipes) as defined by user-created macros.
Physical Key Interception: To allow users to start or stop automation sequences using physical volume buttons globally (in the background).
Overlay Support: To maintain a persistent control interface over other applications.
2. Data Collection and Sharing:
No Data Collection: AirPedal DOES NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal or sensitive data through the Accessibility Service.
Offline Operation: All gesture processing is performed locally on the device.
No Monitoring: We do not monitor your screen content, keystrokes (other than volume triggers), or any personal interactions with other apps.
6. Third-Party Services We may use trusted third-party services for monetization and analytics. These services may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may use advertising IDs to serve personalized ads based on your interests.
Google Play Services: Used for app security and updates.
Google Play Billing: Used for processing Premium subscriptions. AirPedal does not access, store, or process your credit card or payment information. All financial transactions are handled securely by Google.
7. Data Security Since your macro data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers, your data is as secure as your device itself. We prioritize local execution to eliminate cloud-based risks.
