Anonymous Authentication: Our App uses anonymous authentication through Firebase. We do not collect personally identifiable information through this method.
Shared Preferences: The App saves your selected source and target languages locally on your device using Shared Preferences. This information is stored solely on your device and not shared externally.
Usage Data: We use Firebase Firestore to cache dictionary lookups to improve performance and user experience. Data cached includes searched words, their translations, definitions, synonyms, examples, and usage counts. This data does not contain any personally identifiable information.
Advertising: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect advertising IDs from your device to personalize ads. You can manage your preferences for personalized ads via your device settings.We only collect and use advertising identifiers for personalized ads if you explicitly grant permission via the iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you decline, no tracking identifiers will be accessed.

AI Data Processing Consent: Before any text query is transmitted to third-party AI services (OpenAI), the App explicitly informs you and requests your permission. You can choose not to use these features if you do not wish to share input text with the AI provider.
Tracking Permissions: On iOS, you can completely opt-out of ad tracking and identifier collection by choosing "Ask App not to Track" on the system-level App Tracking Transparency prompt.

We implement reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access. Data cached on Firestore does not include any personally identifiable information and is protected according to Firebase’s security standards.

OpenAI API: Used to provide advanced dictionary lookups for uncached searches. When a search is performed, the input text/query is transmitted to OpenAI's API to generate definitions and translations. No personally identifiable data or user profile information is shared with OpenAI.
