Welcome to One PDF. We are committed to providing you with efficient PDF utility tools while prioritizing your privacy and data security. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you interact with our application.
One PDF is designed to be a local productivity tool. We do not require account registration or the collection of personally identifiable information (PII) to use our basic functions.
Device Information: We may collect basic technical data, such as your device model, operating system version, and language settings. This helps us ensure the app remains compatible and functional across different hardware.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous, aggregated statistics regarding how features are used. This data is used solely to improve user experience and optimize tool performance.
Your privacy is our highest priority. All PDF processing tasks—including merging, converting, or scanning—are performed locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or monitor the content of your personal PDF files on our servers.
Users can manually clear app data or uninstall the application at any time; all locally cached data will be deleted accordingly.
To function correctly and ensure a high-quality user experience, One PDF may request the following permissions:
Storage Access: Required to allow you to select, edit, and save PDF documents on your device storage.
Camera: Only requested if you use the "Scan to PDF" feature to capture document images via your device camera.
Foreground Service: We may utilize a foreground service to ensure application stability and prevent data loss during long-running or complex document editing and processing tasks.
We may utilize verified third-party tools (such as advertising networks or analytics providers) to support app maintenance and stability. These partners may collect pseudonymous identifiers (such as Advertising IDs) in accordance with their own privacy policies to provide relevant content and analyze app performance. These third parties do not have access to your personal documents.
We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard the minimal data we process. Because we do not collect sensitive personal identity files or store your documents in the cloud, the risk to your personal privacy is significantly minimized.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We encourage you to review this page occasionally. Updates become effective immediately upon being posted within the app.
